"Hey Barry."
"Hey kiddo! You left your phone at home." He smiled.
I turned around and completely forgot about the letter in my back pocket. Barry grabbed hold of my jacket and pulled me back.
"What's this?" He asked.
"A letter?" I answered sarcastically.
"From SCU. What's this all about?"
"Remember when I told you about college. Well they accepted my application I sent a couple months before the incident."
"Are you wanting to go?"
"I don't know. Now that I have you. Not really. I can register for college online or something."
"You should go." He sighed handing me the letter back.
"What about us?" I started to tear up.
"We'll still be together. It's time for you to start your life where mom left her's. I got to finish up, but I'll help you pack once I get home. See you later." He smiled.
I ran home and started to pack. I have to leave in three days. I don't know anyone in Starling City and I don't think Barry does either. I wanted him to say stay for a while, but he made up his mind. I guess I'm leaving then.
Barry got home an hour later and was on the phone. I had made some food quickly and I wanted to talk to Barry about the next four years of my life.
"Alright thanks, Oliver. Talk to you later. Bye." He hung up. "Mmmmm. That smells good. What is that?"
"Macaroni and Cheese, Green Beans, and Chicken Nuggets." I smiled.
"Yum!" He smiled sitting down. "I wanted to talk to you about SCU."
"Before you finish," I cut him off. "Barry I'm still getting to know you and I really want to be with you. I want to decline because you are the closest thing I have to family and now that you are my dad. I want to stay with you and help you fight crime and hang with you."
"I was gonna say that I talked to my friend Oliver who lives in Starling City. He thinks that you should stay too. I really want you to stay I just didn't know if you wanted me to knock some sense into you or be supportive. Now, go unpack!"
"Yes sir." I joked.
I speed unpacked and went back to the table. I sat down when a knock on the door came. I walked over, opened it, and smiled. It was Destiny.
"Hey Destiny. What are you doing here?"
"Did you see the news? They are looking for a girl meta human. We are. The only ones a I know if so I need to stay with you to make sure that I'm safe." She grabbed my arm.
"They're looking for a woman named Bette. She caused a little bit of trouble. Go home." I said pulling her off.
"I can't."
"Why not?"
"I told them I was going to find my dad. Can you help me?"
I looked back and Barry was gone. I picked up Destiny and followed him. He was going to the CCPD.
