Chapter 5:
Faith's POV:
Well I took my mother's "advice" and got myself a boyfriend. His name is Jake and we've known each other for a while and he's been asking me out, so I finally said yes. I'd been afraid to date for a while after my last abusive relationship. Jake is really sweet though and supports my work and my dreams of being a singer. I've been working a lot on Tim's new farmhouse it's basically done. It's taken a long time, but he's pleased with how it turned out and I am too. I'm so glad he likes it. I'm at the farmhouse working on the finishing touches when I get a phone call from Tim.
"Hey I'm going to go get Kate and bring her out if you're ready! She's going to be so excited!!!"
"Come on by! I was just about to leave."
"Actually, do you mind staying? I would love for you to meet her and vise versa."
"Sure, I'll see you in a bit."
1 hour passes and he's still not out here. I mean I know it's on the outskirts of Nashville but he should be here by now. Then I hear the door open and I walk to it. My smile fades as I see Tim alone with a sad look on his face.
"Where's Kate?"
"She cheated on me."
"What?!" I'm in shock. "What happened?"
"I got to the house and found her making out with a man in the kitchen."
"Oh Tim I'm so sorry."
"Thanks," he says. "And thanks for doing the house too. It looks amazing."
I feel so bad for him. He found out his fiancé was cheating on him the day he was going to surprise her with this house. All I can do is hug him.
