Chapter 6:
Tim's POV:
I decide to keep the farmhouse that I bought and had designed. I love coming out here and "getting away" from the crazy celebrity life. I haven't really dated since Kate and focusing on my career more. I have a show in Memphis tonight and then I'm back in Nashville tomorrow night for a show.
Faith's POV:
Things are going really well with me and Jake. He's so sweet. While I'm at work, he stops by.
"Hey babe," I say kissing him.
"Let's get out of here," he whispers in my ear.
"Oh and do what?" I flirt.
"I have something special for you."
"Alright. Let me just finish this email."
He takes me down a backroad to this field. He had this picnic set up and we sit and eat and talk underneath the sunset. I'm such a lucky woman. He makes me feel like I'm special.
"So I have a surprise for you." Jake says.
"More surprises?" I smile.
"Yup. Close your eyes."
I close them and giggle.
"Okay now open."
In his hands are two tickets.
"What are these?" I ask, smiling.
"Two VIP access tickets to the Tim McGraw show here in Nashville tomorrow night."
"Oh! Thank you!"
"You're welcome! I know how much you love country music and so I though this would be perfect!"
"It is. But I have to tell you something really funny. I know Tim. I designed his house a couple months back so I could've just texted him and gotten us in." I start dying out laughing.
"Wait. Are you being serious?" He starts laughing with me.
"Yes. But you know what?"
"What?"
"These tickets mean so much to me. I love that you got them. Thank you!"
"You're welcome."
We stare into each other's eyes and then it happens. The kiss.
"I love you," he says.
"I love you too."
