Finally, Kaya thought as she leapt from the seat to gaze out the window. To the small but pleasant town which was Riverdale, the smaller raven haired girl in the middle glanced up from her iPad, frowning as she looked out the window before sighing causing Kaya to look down at the little girl. "What's wrong Karls?" She asked softly, Karly was quiet for a moment as her eyes locked with her older sisters. "I-it's just not like England." She mumbled, Kaya knew how hard this was going to be for her baby sister. She'd been there before.Gently she laced her fingers with the smaller girl slightly chubby hands, smiling sympathetically down at the child before glancing at her brother then averting her gaze back to the window. Kai on the other hand was too busy listening to his music, the background noise mute to him as his fingers slid across his phone screen.
Kaya gasped as the once familiar neighbourhood came into view, she turning to her younger sister and pointed out the window. The once fairly big, white picket fence house was before the Johnson's family's eyes. Though the youngest member of the family couldn't recall the memories of the once loving home, but she had heard all sorts or stories and couldn't help but smile as she thought about her older sister and brother running around the garden with water guns, squealing as they sprayed each other in the summers heat. The car eventually stopped, all eyes judging the new house which was in front of them. It was nice, bigger than the house they were in before. The panelling was grey, unlike the house next door which was a creamy yellow colour. The house next door was familiar. As Kaya hopped out of the car, she walked around to the trunk, helping with her sisters bags. "Hey guys, you remember that house?" Kaya's Dad asked causing both Kai and Kaya to look up. "Woah!" The dark haired boy exclaimed. "Man, it's Archie Andrews house!" He remembered happily, dumping his bags onto the floor before rushing over to greet the redhead boy.
Both Kaya and her dad looked at each other before down at the suitcase and gym bag. "You get one, I'll get the other." He nods, not noticing the girls very filled hands. "Or you get one, and the other." She nods before rushing off into their new home.
Kaya flopped onto the bed, falling to the not yet dressed mattress with a thud. She was for sure excited to go back to school and hear all the gossip, get to know what the place had become. Perhaps she'd see Betty and maybe be able to catch up with Archie - or the redhead who's been invading her mind since the very first day they'd locked eyes, she just hoped she wasn't the mean Cheryl Blossom she once knew.
