"Heda, we're heading out soon for Qutos." Gustus told his leader Arabelle turned her head a little towards him and nodded. She put her hand up signaling for him to leave. Once Gustus was gone, Arabelle turned to Garlan and broke into a fit of laughter. "I'm getting used to this. My hand has more power than I thought!" Arabelle exclaimed staring at her hand in front of her.
Garlan chuckled and patted her on the back leading her away. "We better get going or else we'll miss the boat. We don't want them to leave us do you?" Garlan cautioned
"Yes, yes I'm going!"
Bjorn was waiting for them by the Direwolves. He stood up when he noticed Garlan and Arabelle walked towards him. "You guys ready?" Bjorn asked Arabelle nodded smiling
"Then let's go."
*2 months later*
"WE HAVE ARRIVED!" One of the crew members screamed. I was currently sitting in my cabin waiting for them to tell us when we were here. Quickly I exited my room to see a large island near an even larger continent. That would be Essos it was next to.
I jumped when I heard Philip next to me. "Here we are Arabelle." Philip beamed with excitement
"You're three years older than me Philip. Yet you act like you're 10 years younger." I pointed out
We were getting closer. That was when I realised how beautiful that place looked. It was built high on hills. The land lit up with life. You didn't have to near to hear the people. The highest point which I assumed was where the throne or whatever was they had. The whole place was different from Westeros even different from what i've heard of Essos. It made Qutos seem eerily similar to HighGarden.
Since I was so stuck in my thoughts I didn't even notice Bjorn walked up behind us. He put his hand on my shoulder. "Let's go Arabelle better if less people see you. Claire will kill us if she doesn't meet you first." He advised
I looked over at Philip with confusion permanent on my face. "Who's Claire?" I mouthed to him
Philip walked up to me and whispered "His older sister." I nodded in reply
When we walked up into the throne room I saw Claire standing near the throne waiting for them. She turned to me a smile evident on her face. "Heda," She breathed out Claire walked up to me and turned to the men behind me.
She signaled them away "Boys go show Ser Garlan where he will be staying." They nodded and left.
I turned to see Grey Wind and Autumn standing there waiting. I nodded my head signalling them to follow the boys.
Once they were gone Claire spoke again "So Arabelle, I can tell you have questions. Please ask away."
"Why did you chose me." I blurted out
She smirked "Well our mother who was in charge was to insane. So we made the throne vacant. We didn't kill her though all we did was bring her to the dungeons. Neither Bjorn nor I wanted the throne. That was when we looked through some of the houses. Of course we knew of what was happening in westeros so Lannisters and some others were out of the question. Tyrells would want to much but it seems as if you dragged one along easily. We weren't sure about the Starks. Luckily Bjorn and Philip found you after the Red Wedding."
I winced thinking about it again. They're calling it the Red Wedding. Well that makes sense for it.
Claire continued on "We had our wish answered. The Stark family is honorable. That is a good thing but don't let it kill you Arabelle. You were the leader we needed."
I looked at her straight in the eyes. "What about Daenerys?"
"We hate them just as much as your family did. The Targaryens are mad. We don't want them in charge here." She answered
"Are your questions answered Heda?"
"One more thing then yes. What does Heda mean?"
"It means commander in Trigedasleng. Come on Heda we have much to do."
