Perrie's POV
The way she moved on the dance floor made my heart beat twice as fast as it normally should. The way her wavy brown hair fell at her shoulders made me shiver with delight. She was beautiful. She was perfect. I just couldn't find it in me to go up to her and ask her for her name.
"Pez, are you swooning over that brunette on the dance floor?" my best friend Leigh Anne asked, sipping her cocktail.
"Huh? Um, no. I wasn't." I said, coming back to my senses. I was almost positive that I was actually swooning over her. Who wouldn't?
"Liar. Perrie, you should just go and talk to her. I've heard she's nice." Leigh said, giving me a reassuring look. I bit my lip, and sighed.
"Why do I like her so much? I don't even know her bloody name.." I mumbled, twirling the straw around in my glass which was very much full. I didn't even bother drinking.
Jade's POV"Jesy, will you pretty please get me a drink? Pleaseeeee?" I begged, giving her puppy dog eyes.
"Oh, alright. But you're getting mine next time, Thirlwall." she said, smiling.I smiled back at her as she left the booth, and began to scroll through my phone, checking to see if I had any messages or calls.
Nothing.
I put my phone up, and gazed around the club, everyone just a blur. I guess I was a bit dizzy from all the dancing. I watched the D.J pump his fist continuously to the upbeat music, until my eyes landed on the face of a beautiful girl. She was talking with another girl, playing with her drink. Her blonde hair glimmered underneath the dimmed lights of her booth, and her eyes, I was surprised I could see them from where I was sitting. They were the prettiest shade of blue. Almost like a crystal clear ocean in the middle of summer.
"Earth to Jade!"
I looked to my left, seeing Jesy holding two drinks.
"Mind telling me why you're swooning over that blonde over there?" she asked, sitting in front of me. I sighed, and took a large sip of my drink.
"She's pretty." I replied.
Jesy laughed, then shook her head.
"What's so funny?" I asked.
"Why don't you go and talk to her? You've been single for months now, Jade. She could be the one, you know." Jesy said simply, sipping her drink innocently.
"Jes, I'm not going to go and talk to a random girl across the club." I stated, gazing back at the beautiful blonde.
"But you clearly have interest in her. Go on and talk to her, eh? You may never get to see her again. Take advantage of the now."
Jesy always had a way with words. I waited until the girl across from her got up, so I could finally go and talk to her. It seemed like a century passed before the darker girl headed to the bar, probably getting another drink. I told Jesy to wish me luck, and as the amazing friend she is, she told me she hopes everything goes perfectly.
I got up from the booth, and flattened out the bottoms of my dress. I suddenly felt queasy..
I walked over to the blondes booth, and felt my voice crack a little. Great.
"Hi. May I sit?" I asked, flashing a smile. The girl looked a little startled, but she smiled back at me, and nodded.
"I hope this isn't too awkward." I said, giggling.
"Oh no love, you're good." she answered, her accent sending shivers up my spine. She flashed another smile, making my stomach churn with excitement/a bit of nausea.
"So what's your name?" I asked, trying to start a conversation.
"It's Perrie. And yours?" she said, giving yet again ANOTHER beautiful smile.
"Jade. It's nice to meet you." I said, smiling.
"Would you like to dance, Jade?" Perrie asked, startling me. She wanted to dance?? With ME??
"Oh, okay. Let's go!" I exclaimed. I got out of the booth, and followed her onto the dance floor. feeling the energy of the music bring me to life again. I felt my body move along with the music, and while watching the blonde headed beauty move to the beat, it only made me want to dance more. I don't know exactly when it happened, but I found myself dancing extremely close to Perrie, nearly touching her. And she never backed away.
Perrie's POV
I felt myself dancing against Jade towards the end of the song, not even realizing what I was doing. Her body against mine made electricity spike at every inch of my hot, tired body, keeping me alive. When the song ended, everything was a blur. I could only see the face of the beautiful brunette that I was slowly falling for.
She led me back to the booth, but I never sat down.
"Jade, can I buy you a drink?" I asked nicely, gazing at how beautiful she was, even right after some hardcore club dancing with me. She shook her head no, which left me confused.
"I'd like something else.."
Before I could reply, I felt a pair of lips moving against mine, making the electricity return, but now, a million times stronger. I tried to fight for dominance, but the brunette easily won when she softly bit down on my bottom lip. She pulled away, which was followed by a dashing smile, and, a view of her brown eyes buzzing.
"I've been wanting that ever since I saw you tonight." I whispered softly.
"I don't think I could've gone home without getting this from you." Jade whispered back.
And that was the night, where I met Jade Thirlwall. The brunette on the dance floor, who I fell for.
