A/n: the italics sometimes represent thoughts but mainly it's that someone is narrating. I'll tell you who. This time it's the Doctor.

"My biggest fear is that eventually you will see me the way I see myself."

I'd like to forget | part one

Sometimes you meet someone and you never know the impact they'll have on you.

Beep! Beep! "Mm..." Angelica mumbled while have asleep, "stupid alarm clock."

Then she remembered. "I'm gonna be late!"

After that Angelica was in a frenzy to get ready. She jumped out of bed, tripping on the bedsheets..."ow."

Angelica has medium length brown hair with layers, side bangs, and highlights. Her eyes are doe shaped and caramel in color; she wears red glasses.

After that she ran to the bathroom and brushed her teeth; then Angelica brushed her hair, leaving it in a frizzy mess. She pulls half of it up in a bun and dresses in a black dress. Angelica puts on some eyeliner and mascara.

She checks the time, 8:43. Angelica needs to be at the interview at 9:10. If I hurry I'll be able to stop at the coffee shop, she thought to herself.

Angelica ran down the stairs and out the door. She continued to run two and a half blocks then entered the coffee shop. She placed her order and sat down, trying to mentally prepare herself. If she could get this internship she'd be able to get a college scholarship.

Everything was normal and fine until something caught her eye; three strangers sitting at a booth. Only she wasn't that sure that they all were strangers.

"Doctor, what do we need to find," Amy inquired?

Angelica almost gasped but caught herself.

"I'm not sure what it is. All I know is that it shouldn't be able to exist. So we need to find it before the others do," the Doctor explained.

Rory added, "right, so where do we start?"

The Doctor paused once again, "I'm not sure but I'm figuring it out."

I feel that you should know Angelica's thoughts: how? They look the same and it's been eleven years!

Then the Doctor froze.

"Doctor," Amy tried.

"Sorry it's just," he paused once again then he turned towards Angelica. "You froze when you saw Amy and I. Why?"

Angelica awkwardly sat for a moment. "Y-you two looked familiar."

"No, we don't look familiar you know us. But I don't know you. What's your name?"

"Lia."

"Lia, I don't know a Lia. Full name?"

Lia was still confused, "Angelica. Angelica Rain."

"You're the girl from last night." The Doctor concluded, "but that was last night."

"It was last night, eleven years ago," Angelica said.

The Doctor stared at her for a long time before taking out his sonic screwdriver.

"What's that," Lia asked?

"Sonic screwdriver," he replied nonchalantly before scanning her forehead.

"What're you doing," Lia asked with furrowed eyebrows?

"Scanning you," he replied causally.

He pulled it away and read the results, "as expected. Normal, human, boring."

"Rude," Lia muttered.

"Caramel frappe for Lia," the barista called!

Lia turned to grab her drink before heading back to the Doctor.

"What are you doing?" The Doctor asked in complete seriousness.

Lia glanced at her coffee cup, "drinking coffee."

"With everything going on your drinking coffee?"

"Well," Lia started, "this is a coffee shop."

Amy held back a small laugh while the Doctor sighed. "The world's in danger! Come on," he gestured to be followed while turning away.

"I've got an interview in eight minutes," Lia countered.

"Time machine, remember?" Then he paused to ask, "interview for what?"

"Internship that'll get me a scholarship for college."

It doesn't matter what you think. You can't control who changes your life. The point is they did.

The Doctor opened the door to the Tardis and Lia took a step inside. She leaned in then stuck her head out to see the outside of the box. "The sizes! They don't match up!"

"That's a first," the Doctor murmured.

"Well Angelica Rain," the Doctor ran around the council, "earth's in danger and I need your help."
