-xXx- A Week Later -xXx-

I run quickly towards Joel and jump, wrapping my legs around his waist and hugging him tightly while holding a paper with my grades on it.

"So did you pass?" He asks wrapping his arm around me. I answer his question with a big, sloppy kiss. I let go just to hug him again. He laughs. "I'll take that as a big fucking yes. Congrats Tom." He says before giving me a kiss on the cheek.

I jump down, and grab a hold of his hand, interlacing our fingers. We walk to my locker to grab my backpack, and empty some of the stuff that's there.

"Did you guys pass?" Asks Billy walking with Benji. "We both did."

"We did too, this summer is gonna be so rad." I say as I shove a few notebooks in my backpack.

"We passed!" Cheers Paul while Travis chews his finger nail beside him.

"We all passed. Sweet!" I cheer. "Did Mark pass? Where is he by the way? I haven't saw him much around since we jammed together a week ago."

"He passed also, and he was just walking with us over here. Which we all saw you two being all cute together." Paul chuckles pinching Joel's cheeks, making Joel swat his hand away. "But once we got closer to you guys, he said that he needed to get home quickly to do some chores. So he couldn't stay and talk."

I nod, and pick up my backpack, tossing it over my shoulder. "Well it sucks that he couldn't though, how are we gonna have the annual start of summer party?" Joel asks scratching his head. "Mark is usually our best host."

"We just have to ask him about it, I guess." Says Benji as we walk out of the school building.

We walk to Billy's house, and sit on his large couch. "I'll call Mark to see if he's gonna be the host like usual." Benji says as he walks to Billy's house phone that's hanging on the wall. A few minutes later, he comes back and sighs. "No answer both times. He must be really busy then, I left him a message so he'll probably call back once he's done with whatever he's doing."

All of us nod, and start planning for the party. What theme should be for this year, how do we make it better than last year's? Things like that. All of us suggest things as Benji writes them down.

"Since Billy has a pool, people could bring their swimming suits." Says Joel, and Benji writes it down.

-xXx- The Party -xXx-

Everyone shows up, and I smile around the house. Orange, black, red, blue, green colors surround the whole house, we picked all of our favorite colors, but I wish pink was in there. Mark didn't call back, we haven't even saw him since the last day of school.

Ever since Mark and I jammed that day, the only times I ever see him is in the classes we share together. Even then, he still doesn't talk to me. It makes me always wonder, what did I do wrong? Did I piss him off some how? I will never know, since he won't fucking talk to me.

A hand waves over my face, I look up to see Joel's smile. "Hey, where are you? You have been spacing out a lot tonight." He says as he takes a sip of his beer can. "I've been trying to get your attention for several minutes now, what's on your mind?"

Should I tell him the truth? He is my boyfriend, but also my best friend. I shouldn't lie. "Why have Mark been spacing away from us these two months?"

He shrugs. "He hasn't been to me, nor the rest of the guys. Why would you think that?"

"He won't talk to me, I'm kind of worried."

He wraps a caring arm over me. "He's fine, he's just been busy. That's all. Here, I think I know something that'll get your mind off of it." He says as he helps me up, and walks me across the living room floor. We get to where Billy, and Benji are standing, which is in front of the door. "We could help the new host with welcoming guests."

I nod, and that's what we did for an hour until the little sips of alcohol turned into gulps. Billy, Benji, Joel and I staggers to the kitchen where not a lot of people are at. We all start dancing crazily, trying not to fall. To keep that from not happening, we hang on to each other, which in all non-drunken reality, will make the chances of falling increase.

Everything afterwards turns into a black out, until I wake up the next morning with what it looks and smells like sour cream covering my naked torso, with what it looks like, teeth marks? What the hell happened last night?

Joel sleeps beside me on the kitchen floor, I shake him a bit to wake him. "Hmm?" He mumbles.

"What happened last night?" I ask yawning.

He opens his eyes, and chuckles. "What happened to you?"

"That's why I'm asking you, I have no clue."

I look up to Benji holding his head, walking past to get some water, I ask him the same question, and which he answers, "From what it looks like, people were licking and biting sour cream off of you."

"Well no shit." I laugh as I stand up, then help Joel up.

"Tom, you started to spread the sour cream all over your torso after taking off your shirt, then started to yell for people to lick you. I should know, I was trying to get a cup of water to limit my alcohol intake. But you were in the way, acting all drunk." Says a chuckling Paul whom passes through to get some cereal. "Over all, I seriously think this was the best start of the summer party, even though Mark couldn't join in on the fun."

"Talking about Mark, I'm gonna call him to see if he wants to chill today." Says Benji as he walks to the phone.

"While he does that, you can take a shower, Tom." Billy tells me. I nod, and walk to the upstairs bathroom.
