Part I

"There he is," Tinker Bell pointed out, "the man with the lion tattoo."

"That's him?" I asked looking through the window into the pub.

"Yes! Now, I have to go. Blue will kill me if I don't get back. Good luck, Regina!" she said flying away.

I stood there and thought about what I will say to him.

Hi! I'm Regina! We're soul mates!

That won't work.

I want to go inside.

I don't want to go inside.

I want to find new love.

I don't want to forget Daniel.

New love.

Stay with the king.

Go in.

Stay out.

All these feelings were overwhelming me and I became suddenly dizzy. I stood against the cold stone wall for support. This couldn't be nervousness. I never get nervous. Never.

Oh great, here comes dinner.

I leaned over and threw up.

I sunk to the ground and sat there.

I can't meet my true love like this.

"Are you alright?" A man asked, walking out of the pub.

I quickly got up (which only made me dizzier) to speak to the handsome stranger.

"Um..."

"Do you need to go to the doctor?" He asked.

"No, I'm fine, thank you." just as I said that I leaned over and threw up again. Great.

"Here," he said holding out his hand, "I'm going in that direction."

I have no interest in going to the doctor but it'll get me away from the castle for a bit, so I took his hand, but just as I did, I stumbled over, and thankfully, he caught me.

"I'm sorry, I'm just dizzy... I think." I said apologetically.

"Had too much to drink?" he asked gesturing to the pub.

"No I was just about to go in to... meet someone."

"Was it something you ate?"

"No, but you know what? I'm suddenly feeling better. I'll just get home." I lied.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

"Yes. I'm just going to go on my way now. Thank you, um... I never got your name..."

He laughed, "Robin. Robin Hood." He held out his hand.

"Regina." I said shaking it.

I tucked my hair behind my ear and looked down at our hands wide-eyed.

The tattoo. This man is my soulmate.

"Is, um, something wrong?" he asked.

My head popped up.

"Oh! No it's just, your tattoo is very... interesting." I said releasing his hand.

"I get that a lot." He laughed.

"Well, it was nice meeting you, Regina."

"And you, Robin Hood." I said with a smile.

He turned around and left. I made sure he was out of sight before I continued down my path.

Robin Hood.

My true love.

There was something about him I liked.

I continued my way back to my prison- I mean, home.

My true love.

Will our paths ever cross again?

I hope so.

I like this Robin Hood.

My dizziness hit me again, but a lot harder. I fell to ground. Darkness.
