Part 2 Chapter 10

I rush into Gold's shop, the bell rings as I walk in.

"Hello, Regina." Gold says. I stand frozen. Robin was there. He looks me in the eye, and butterflies flutter in my stomach. I snap out of my frozen state and rush out the door.

"Regina, wait!" I hear Robin call as he chases me out the door.

I'm halfway through crossing the road, when Robin catches up to me and grabs my arm to stop me.

"Let go of me!" I say, struggling to get my arm out of his strong grasp.

"No! Not until you tell me why you've been ignoring me!" He exclaims, holding both of my shoulders and looking me straight in the eye.

The sky suddenly grew darker and thunder roared in the distance.

"It's going to rain!" I yell at him.

"Well, we aren't going anywhere so if you want to stay dry, you better start talking!"

It started drizzling.

"Get your hands off of me!" I say, again struggling to get out of his grasp, and oh my word he's strong.

"Regina!"

"What!" I scream.

"Why have you been ignoring me?" he repeats. It's pouring rain now.

"You want to know why I've been ignoring you? Fine! I've been ignoring you, Robin Hood, because I love you! I love you more than I have ever loved anyone else! In fact, I'm so in love with you, that when you came back and I realized that I was the evil queen, I didn't want you to be disgusted with me so I pretended to no longer be interested! Oh, I pretended so hard! so hard that it was all I thought about! It filled my head with ideas and I have nightmares every single night about you being with another woman, or you going back to the Enchanted Forest without me! And I get so... scared!" I'm crying more than ever now but, you can't see them, for they blended with the rain, "I just don't want you to leave because I'm despicably evil now. I'm the Evil Queen. I don't want to go through heartbreak."

You don't have to..." Robin responds, letting me go."

"You're right. I don't." I say reaching into my pocket and pull out the vial to show him.

"What's that?" he asks.

"It's a potion. I drink this, and I forget you forever. It'll be good, and you'll have an amazing life without me."

We're completely drenched at this point. The rain had died down but it was still coming down generously.

"Regina-" Robin says and takes the potion from my hand in a quick motion, drops it on the ground, and crushes it under his boot.

"What did you do that for?" I scream in his face.

"There's no such thing as an amazing life without you." he says and kisses me in the middle of the flooding street. So much happened in that short moment of time.

"I love you, Regina. Please don't forget this, don't forget us."

"You destroyed my potion, it doesn't look like I have a choice now, does it?" I say, smiling, "I love you too."

We share another passionate kiss in the rain. It seems as if I've finally found the happy ending with Robin I've craved so long for.
