Thesaartionary AU - "A Baffling... Something"

-*Halloween*-

Aaron stood joyfully out of their home, waiting for his girlfriend, Aphmau, to come out in her costume. While Aaron was clad in a Natsu costume to provide him happiness during his days of non-stop work, Aphmau was aiming for a different 'idea.'

Knowing that her boyfriend hasn't been getting much sleep during the last week, she decided to tease him a bit using his favorite thing; a dictionary.

On the other hand, Michi was still plotting from afar on how to steal Aaron's heart right from Aphmau's grasp, but that was going to be a tough task, so she decided to use his second favorite thing; a thesaurus.

The two females changed into their costumes, oblivious to the fact that the other female was following in accordance to their idea.

"Heh, this is going to be hilarious!" Aphmau snickered, putting on the last part of her dictionary mascot-costume. Outside her room, stood Katelyn and Vylad, donning Erza and Jellal costumes; yeah, they were totally not copying Nicole and Dante. "Aphmau, how long are you going to take?" Katelyn queried, pounding on her door. Vylad continued, "Kawaii~Chan might be snagging all the candy!"

Hearing foot steps get louder, the pair stepped back, as the door swung open, to see the ravenette playfully wearing a dictionary costume. While Vylad was shocked, Katelyn was biting her lip, trying her best not to laugh. "Pftt..." she wheezed, tightly clamping her mouth, trying to not let the laugh escape her lips. She eventually budged, bursting out laughing.

"Hahhaaha!" she laughed, nearly falling backwards as the three continued giggling and chuckling.

They all split up, as Katelyn and Vylad slid out of the house quickly to try and snag more candy, while Aphmau carefully and strategically snuck up on the male.

"Uhhh," Aaron yawned, raising his arm in the air, stretching a bit. "Hello there, Aaron," Aphmau's disguised voice purred behind Aaron, as some of his stark black hair stood up in shock. "W-Who are y-you?!" he questioned, jaw-dropped at the ginormous dictionary in front of him.

"I'm a dictionary; a book giving information on particular subjects or on a particular class of words, names, or facts, usually arranged alphabetically," the mascot spoke quickly, leaving the male with widened eyes.

And of course, Aphmau never really knew this, she was just scrolling through her phone with one hand, looking for the definitions in Dictionary.com, her boyfriend's favorite website.

"Woah... you're... amazing," the male admitted, mesmerized. Aphmau stood in her costume, silently snickering. "Amazing; causing great surprise or sudden wonder," she spoke once again, her eyes running through lines of text on her phone. The two stood in silence, before they heard a ruffle in the bushes. "You may be amazing, but you're not as amazing as me!" a voice stated, as a large thesaurus jumped out of the bushes.

"A dictionary AND a thesaurus? Am I dreaming?" Aaron asked himself, pinching his own arm. "Dreaming? More like..." Michi started, scrolling through her phone under her costume, like Aphmau. "M-More like absent-minded! Heh... heh," the meif'wa- err, thesaurus nervously laughed, as Aaron tilted his head to the side. "Ohkay?"

The male stood back a bit, observing the two books before him. Realizing that his biggest dream had just came true, Aaron fainted, falling on the ground behind him. The two females took off a part of their costumes, revealing their faces to one another.

"Aphmau?! You were the dictionary?!"

"Michi?! He doesn't like thesauruses as much, for your information!"

Not much to this one, but I just got bored. I hope no one hates me for making this :'> Come on, thesaartionary/aartionary should be added to the Aphmau ships category.

Oh, and the definitions were provided by Thesaurus.com and Dictionary.com, so I actually made it true to the story.

The characters rightfully belong to Empress_Aphmau and the story/one-shot was written by CathyLiz!!
