"Aah!" A little voice screamed and I jumped up out of bed quickly. I looked around frantically to see Parker lying on the ground. I let out a sigh of relief as she looked up at me smiling.
"Why are you on the floor babe?" I gave her my hand and she reached up and held onto it.
"I was trying to climb on the bed with you mama. And I fell." She rubbed the back of her head and I turned her around to make sure there was nothing wrong with her head.
"Okay. Are you hungry?" I sat on the edge of the bed and rubbed my eyes.
"No I'm tired." She held her hands up and opened them so I could pick her up. I picked her up and placed her on the bed. "Come mama. Sleep." She patted the space on the bed beside her and I smiled warmly at her before getting back into bed beside her.
After a while she fell asleep and I was just watching her sleep like a creepy stalker but she's so gorgeous. I love her so much. I started playing in her hair and a little smile came across her face. I had to stop myself from awing out loud.
"You guys are the cutest." I turned around and looked at Dinah. She had a tray in her hand. "I figured you probably didn't want to cook so I made you breakfast and Parker ate already."
"I'm fine I could've cooked if you guys wanted." I sat up but Parker tightened her grip on my shirt.
"No it's okay." I nodded. She placed the food down on the nightstand and looked at me sadly. "How are you?"
"Dinah I told you already I'm good. Everything's okay."
"No everything's not okay."
"It is for me. I'm totally unaffected. Now I'm going to go paint stuff so people can buy them and I won't go broke." I tried to get up but once again Parker held onto my clothes. "After Parker wakes up." She smiled at me before walking towards the door. "I love you Dinah!"
"Love you too." She blew me a kiss and I pretended to catch it. Parker stirred beside me but just shifted a little bit.
Another hour or so she finally woke up. "Mama I'm hungry." I nodded.
"Let's get you food." I walked downstairs and saw Dinah and Ally in the kitchen talking.
"Aunty A-" I covered her mouth.
"Go put on shoes we're going out don't disturb them come on." I took her to her room and put her shoes on before I put my sunglasses on and my hair in a ponytail. "Let's go pretty girl." She giggled lightly and held onto my hand as we walked out of the house. We went in my car and I strapped her in the car seat before we drove off.
We ended up in front of a pizzeria and Parker was clapping excitedly. She loved pizza more than she loved anything else in this world except me hopefully. We walked in and the heavenly smell of pizza invaded my nostrils. The smile on Parker's face was huge and she looked so happy.
We went into a booth and she sat across from me. She picked up the menu like she could read and started making sounds like she was considering something. "What're you getting?"
"I don't know these all look good." She put down the menu and put her hand under her chin. "Maybe I'll get the pizza." I laughed lightly and she started laughing harder. "Mama. I can't read." She held her stomach and I looked at her in awe.
"I didn't know that Parker."
"Yes you did!" She smiled and placed her chin on the table. I shook my head as the waiter came over to our table.
"Hello are you ready to order or should I come back?" I looked up to see a beautiful woman with short blonde hair and brown eyes.
"Oh yeah. Uh-"
"Cheese pizza please." Parker interrupted me and the girl looked at her and a huge grin overtook her face.
"Okay I'll get that for you. And what do you want to drink?" She smiled down at Parker and she picked up the menu.
"Let's see." Her eyes went across the menu. "Lemonade please."
"You can read already?"
"No." The waiter giggled lightly and nodded.
"Okay lemonade and what can I get for you mom?" When her eyes met mine a huge smile came across her face and I felt something run through my body. Something good.
"Just water please. And make the pizza a large one." She scribbled something on her notepad and walked away smiling.
A few minutes later she came back with our drinks and took the menus since she forgot the first time. When she came back with the pizza Parker clapped her hands and looked at the huge pizza before her with stars in her eyes. That's my kid.
"Thank you."
"No problem. If you need anything just call me over." I nodded and she walked away. By the time she left Parker already finished a slice of pizza.
"Slow down greedy pants, don't choke." She smiled at me and took another bite before holding her throat and coughing. "Oh my God Parker." I got up and she started giggling.
"Got you mama." She pointed at me and I placed my hand on my chest.
"Don't do that. You scared me." She shrugged her shoulders and took another bite of her pizza. "Who taught you that?"
"Aunty Dinah."
"Of course." I chuckled and ate another slice.
"Y/N I need to talk to you." Chris stood beside me looking around the restaurant frantically.
"I will call the cops right now if you don't get away from me and my child."
"No, thanks for not calling the cops yet but this is important please hear me out. I need to talk before she comes." I gave him a hard glare.
"Before who comes?"
"Christopher what are you doing here?" Camila came from behind him with her hand resting on his shoulder.
"Nothing I was just leaving." He looked at me with a sorry look before he walked away with Camila following him. I looked back to Parker who seems unfazed and was eating her fourth slice of pizza.
"Slow down child." She looked up at me with her big smiles and giggled.
"Okay." She took a bite out of her pizza in slow motion and I rolled my eyes.
