part 3.
the piece of paper.it was one pm sharp, and bokuto was already sitting down at a table inside the coffee shop. just like any other saturdays he had, the weather outside was nice. it was really warm with all the flowers and trees and of course the clouds painting over the sky. but sadly the male couldn't help but to tap his fingers against the black table out of anxiety.
well yes, consider it as the first time he had received anything as bold as this.
his anxiety could calm down just for a tiny bit when he saw kenma and kuroo behind the window, just entering the same coffee shop where he is right now.
"kuroo, kenma!" he waved to catch the two males' attention. the said names quickly spotted him and in a matter of seconds was already walking towards him. kenma stopped walking, stopping his boyfriend as well.
"ice tea, kuro," he looked up and searched for his boyfriend's eyes. "please?" kenma finished with just a merely smile, and kuroo nodded his head okay. "sure, go talk with bokuto first,"
and kenma did, once he saw kuroo walking away from his side to the barista, he took a seat across bokuto's before asking him what was the matter. actually, he didn't. bokuto just abruptly explained it to him before kenma could even catch his breath.
"kenma! you are never going to believe this when i woke up this morning i had a great dream and all and i woke up and airu was beside me and i kiss her to wake her up and i took a bath-"
"bokuto-san.."
"what?!"
"cut right to the problem, maybe?" he suggested tiredly, and bokuto's face lit up for just a second. "oh! yes! good idea." he said and kenma sighed. kuroo even had already walk back to their table before bokuto can explain anything important.
"so what did i miss?" kuroo asked with his cheeky grin.
"exactly nothing." kenma muttered quietly under his breath, and kuroo tried not to laugh.
bokuto finally answered. "airu, or me, was threatened." he said. kuroo and kenma both shot him a raised eyebrow, so bokuto who didn't want to let his friends be anymore confused, starts explaining for real this time.
"there was a package sent to my doorstep. this package," bokuto pulled out a package that was covered with brown paper, the same package that he only received that day. "and there's no clue on who the sender was." he gave it to kenma and kuroo for them to observe it better.
"what was inside it?" kuroo asked, curiousity filling inside him.
"a piece of paper, and a black rose. i kept the paper inside there,"
true to his words, when kenma opened it he only saw a single piece of paper. kuroo and kenma read it carefully. "a.k?"
bokuto shrugged his shoulders. "don't know her."
"what makes you think it's a her?" kuroo raised an eyebrow.
bokuto was caught of guard for a second before he pulled himself back together. "w-why wouldn't it be-"
"i'm just saying, this is some bold move and i don't know.. just saying." kuroo finished.
bokuto took in his words carefully. he's not wrong, why was bokuto so close minded anyway? he should've figured it literally could be anyone. "i guess.."
kenma put the paper back inside and closed the package, giving it back to bokuto. "what did you do with the rose?" kuroo asked.
"i threw it." bokuto answered back. "so kenma, you're the best informant i got, can you help me find out who this a.k person is?" he asked hopefully.
"oh, better, he can even get you like his address or something!" kuroo cheered and kenma quickly shot him a look, sipping his tea.
bokuto nearly jumped in his seat. "what! really?!"
kenma placed his ice tea down, sighing. "i'll do my best."
bokuto's face lit up and he tried hard not to clap his hands from excitement. "thank you kenma!"

bokuto was tired that day, it was a saturday, and yet he still had unfinished work. and the dead line wasn't really a close friend of him either, so after he sent his girlfriend to her own home, he came back to his apartment and start typing away his work.
his phone buzzed.
it was a text, from kenma. bokuto didn't really want to let it disturb his work, and yet he clicked it anyway. kenma sent a phone number.
what's that?
kenma
bokuto-san. you live in an apartment in a building. the package was sent to your doorstep. it wasn't hard to check your building's cctv.oh my god
that's his phone number then?
kenma
akaashi keiji.male.
24 years old.
bokuto blinked his eyes a few times before reading the last text. he nearly didn't believe his own eyes. the male even re-read the same text over and over again to make sure it really says what it says. the text message never changed.
kenma
and yes, that is his phone number.+++
