Everyone took noticed on Tsuna's misbehavior. Lately, they caught him staring dazedly at Ietsuna's empty seat while sometimes at the sky. He also sighed more though less complaining.

They tried many things, from lunch invitations until the big fight— courtesy of pineapple-head and birdie— but nothing really snapped the teen from his thoughts. Not even Reborn's hellish train could snap him out of it, and that's something.

Something that's obvious, Ietsuna is the reason behind his brooding. It was proven right when the said boy finally makes his appearance after the second week.

"Ie-kun!!" Tsuna's face brighten up as he stood up, calling the boy's name.

The younger brunet gave him a positive reply, waving his hand at the older brunet with a bright smile. A rare sight that blanched the the students and teacher.

Once Ietsuna got seated, Tsuna hurriedly turned around and asked him questions, "it's nice to see you again Ie-kun! how are you? ya sure you're okay with school? what about Caelum-san? how is he? and again, are you feeling fine? if you don't I'll take you to the infirmary right away— oh wait, Shamal is there— Tch. Well then, hospital it is—"

Ietsuna cuts him off with a soft laughter "hold your horses, Yoshi-kun. first of all, I'm fine and so does Caelum. Secondly, I'll be just fine."

"that rarely happen actually, so no need for you to be alert." he added through their mindlink.

"—and lastly, it's nice to see you too Yoshi-kun~" Ietsuna flashed another smile that helped Tsuna on calming his racing heart. The older sighed in relief.

"Thankgoodness, Ie-kun. I was so worried..."

Ietsuna chuckled quietly, "Thanks for your concern, but I think it's better if you turn your back now. you might not notice this but everyone is staring at us..."

Tsuna snapped his head to his surrounding. And indeed, the whole class is staring at them. The class was dead-silent, no one said a word. Face exploded in shades of red, the older brunet slumped on his seat, trying to shrink from the gaze instead of shrieking.

Ietsuna let another soft chuckle before his indifferent expression returned to his face. Soon enough the class actually started...

.oOo.

Once the class is over, Tsuna sighed in deep relief as all of the tension's gone from his body.

Ietsuna was going to approach his look alike, but Hayato and the rest of the gang has beat him to it.

"Come on Tsuna! let's take our lunch to the roof!" Takeshi said as he grinned widely.

"Oi! Baseball-freak! That should be my line!" The silveret barked furiously before he then turned around to his beloved boss and changed into a loyal puppy as he enthusiastically said, "let's eat our lunch at the rooftop Jyuudaime!"

Tsuna sweatdropped comically but smiled at them anyway, "Yeah, sure!" he chirpped as he stood up to invite Kyoko and the girls to join them, to which of course they agreed for it.

Ietsuna on the other hand feels left out although he doesn't really show it on his deadpanned face. He already used with loneliness. but why?

'why does it hurt?' he asked himself as he sighed heavily, staring at the clear sky. He should have known that good things never meant to last that long with his luck.

In addition to that, He doesn't have any bento. Never does. Caelum isn't exactly a morning guy, and he couldn't cook. With nothing to do, the gloved boy choose to doze of 'till the next class hour.

Well that was his original plan anyway.

"Ie-kun?" At the call Ietsuna raised his head for he know only one person that would call him that way.

"Eh? Uh... yes Yoshi-kun? you need anything?" Ietsuna asked, tilting his head slightly in confusion.

"ano... if you're not busy or something, would you like to join us for lunch?" Tsuna asked nervously while Ietsuna just blinked at the invitation.

did he...?'

"did you just invite me?" he asked dumbly.

"well yeah? is that... a problem?" Tsuna asked back still quite nervous, afraid for getting rejected.

There's a pause from the younger brunet who just stared blankly at the older's face, without himself knowing.

"I-Is there something on my face?" The sky backed away embarrassedly, turning to Hayato asking if there's indeed something

Ietsuna hurriedly snapped out of his daze, "oh no no no! I'm sorry for starring, it's just... well... I was shocked..."

"why?" Tsuna asked, tilting his own head slightly.

"well, because..." Ietsuna looked down, fiddling with his fingers he tried to fight back a blush as he murmured "—no one ever invite me for anything before...?" it was barely above whisper but those trained ears caught the words perfectly

"well then, since Dame-Tsuna has invited for lunch, would you like to join us?" Reborn asked casually, not minding the fact that he just kicked Tsuna's head hard.

The older brunet groaned, "Reborn. Can't you stop kicking my head????" The teen grumped, though as usual it came to a deaf ears, for the hitman just simply ignored him

"So?" he focused on Ietsuna instead.

"but I... I don't have any lunch, and I also forget to brought any money with me." his face turned dark shade of red as he admitted. Luckily, no students other than the gang in the class at the moment.

"Hahi? No bento??? that's awful!!" Haru exclaimed with a gasp.

"Well, we can shared with you then, right minna?" Kyoko offered with a kind smile of her own.

Chorus of 'okay', 'alright', 'fine', and one annoyed 'Tch' are her feedback.

"Thank you... but, are you sure that you want me to join you?" Ietsuna questioned, still unsure, he was never in a group before. Well, one that didn't harm him that is.

"Of course! we're not tricking you I swear." Tsuna said as he smiled a 1000-watt smile after composing himself.

Ietsuna saw sincere on his eyes, Therefore he slips a smile of his own, "Thank you everyone... Thank you so much... especially to you, Yoshi-kun" .

Tsuna was about to stop him from getting teary, but Reborn just have a better idea apparently.

"Good answer! now, let's hurry to the roof. I'm hungry." The group then left with Tsuna —who was being kicked again— trying to chase them from behind.
