You were surprised, to say the least. Seeing your future self was... Weird.
"How are you here? In my... Timeline?"
"Let's say that time travel is... Strange."
"I bet. But let's get back to the part where you said that I'm awakened. What does that mean?"
"It's hard to explain. But I guess you freezing time explains a lot."
"I... Didn't do it on purpose."
"I know you didn't. Your powers are driven by emotion. Something must've happened for you to freeze time. Don't worry, Everything is back to normal. I fixed it."
"Weren't you frozen too?"
"No. Because technically I'm a version of you."
"Okay. This is hurting my head."
"It is alot to take in. But we must discuss the problem at hand. The Boule is after us- as in you."
"What's the Boule?"
"The Council of Elders. Those who control the Magicians."
"Magicians?!"
"Yes. Don't shout. The Magicians are a race who can use Magic, obviously. But their magic is controlled by their emotions."
"Okay, so I'm guessing I'm one of them?"
"You guessed correctly."
"But why are they after us- I mean me."
"Because of the child you are carrying."
"A.... Child?"
"Yes. When you and Thomas... Mated, I'm guessing you didn't use protection. So I can sense that a child is inside. It will be half human, half monster. That child will be the one to either destroy the council, or lead it to glory. And trust me, the first one is better."
"But..."
"No buts. This is fate. I've lived your life in the far future. It's not pretty with the council alive. My child was good."
"So... You're saying that my child will be good?"
"Oh no. It's only up to fate now. And besides, our little " chat" is up. I can't stay in your timeline any longer, or it'll collapse. Here, take this book. It contains spells to help defeat the council. And another thing. Don't let Thomas know about the child. At least not yet."
"Why not?"
"Again, Trust me. I'm you."
"Alright. I guess I'll see you?"
"More like you'll be me." She smirked as you left, pushing aside the flaps of the tent. There monster Tom stood, awaiting you.
"Why are you in monster form?" You questioned. His look didn't really answer your question, so you sighed and gathered his clothes, noticing that the small book was in your back pocket, even though you never grabbed it off the table. Man, this past- future thing messed with your head. You them climbed onto Tom's back, turning to see that the Tent was gone.
"Let's go home, Tom."
