The last a couple of days I had spent in the library reading every possible book that could help me understand my Powers. I was getting more quicker at finding books and I even noticed that there was a single Dark book in the whole library. It was well hidden and I couldn't find it, but I felt it. It was the only dark spot in all of that light. My curiosity was killing me and I wanted to know so bad what was so special about this book. But Richard was good, he hid it so well. I didn't dare ask him about it. I think I made him scared with all of the questions about the Dark side, that if I ask him about the book he might yell at me to stop. I felt more confident, now that I knew everything on theory. Now I needed to practice it. It was the beginning of a new week and I was going to start my training with Victor.
He was waiting for me in the training area, wearing a T-shirt and sweatpants as usual. He smiled at me when he saw me coming in. "Are you ready, Val?" he asked me while I tied my hair up in a ponytail.
"Can you go easy on me, it's my first day after all?"
"Today yes. Today we will be learning a couple of moves and I will let you work out a little bit on your own" I nodded and got to work. He showed me a couple of stands, correcting me when I did them wrong. I was confident about myself but that didn't last long when I saw how hard it really was. But I was determined to learn everything he had to offer. I learned a couple of moves and he told me what to do after that in the gym.
I worked out on my own for a couple of minutes and by the time Victor came to let me go I was so tired. The only thing I wanted was to take a shower and relax. Unexpectedly how my energy was quickly restored as I made my way to the showers. The hot water relaxed my muscles but that didn't change the fact that I would be sore tomorrow.
After my shower, I dressed in new clothes remembering that I needed to go shopping and I knew Emilia will be so excited about it. I hated the fact that I had to wear someone else's clothes. I made my way to the kitchen, which was open for everyone that wants to grab something quick. I made myself a sandwich and ate it while I was searching for someone I know. As I was walking when I heard muffled voices. I entered the room from where the voices were coming from. I saw Chris with Martin and another boy playing video games on their PlayStation. I leaned on the door and watched them for a while. The other boy wich had a gingery hair looked up at me and smiled. I have seen him around a couple of times but I never knew his name nor what kind of Powers he has.
"Hi, you wanna join?" he asked me and just then Martin and Chris looked up from the screen.
"Hey sweetheart, did you have a nice training session with Vic?" asked Chris with his charming smile. I sat next to him and let out a huge sigh.
"I will be so sore for sure, but today he let me go easy. I'm not so sure what will happen tomorrow" I told them and looked at the screen.
"Don't worry, you will kick his ass" he reassured me but that only got him a disbelieving look from me.
"Have you met me? I will be the one with my ass kicked"
"Yeah, but you have clones" pointed out Martin.
"I can barely summon two and that requires for me to stop, close my eyes and focus, by that time Victor would have already knocked me out." They laughed but it was the bitter truth.
"Hey, have you met Tom?" asked Chris and pointed at the boy with the ginger hair. I shook my head. "Val this is Tom, Tom this is Valeria. Tom is actually very good at drawing and he can draw the future or the past...Basically, he's psychic but with drawing powers. I think if he wasn't good at painting Hegan would have given him the gray crystal." explained Chris.
