When I was little, I get chased by boys everyday. They would ask me to play with them. I would always refuse. They will never stop. I got irritated by them so I wore glasses. I usually let my hair let loose but since I'm willing to stop this madness I braid my hair everyday. That way no one would like me anymore.

It work! I was so relieved that they stopped following me. So this continued until I was in high school. Everyone in school calls me a 'geek', but I don't mind at all. All I want was to be alone and bury myself in a book. I don't have friends actually. Just me and my book. I don't mind being alone. It's to frustrating to have friends. My parents are really worried about me not having a friend. So my father asked his friend's son to meet me. I couldn't reject my parents, so I was forced to meet him.

After a couple of days, I heard one of our maid that they would be coming soon. My mom barge into my room. She said to me that not to wear my glasses and not to braid my hair. I tried to protest to her but she said to do what she said. I didn't have a choice. I let go of my hair and my glasses. I wore the dress that was prepared for me. This is so frustrating. My mom combed my hair. "See you look much more beautiful" I didn't answer at all.

After a minute I went down. I could smell roasted chicken. Are they going to have dinner here? This is getting too annoying. Me and my mom went down, I could see him talking with my dad. He was indeed handsome. But then again I wouldn't like him to see me like this. "Dear" My mom said to get attention of my father. "Yes!" My father said turning around to see us. "My how lovely you both look today" My father said looking pleased. "Will, I would like you to met my lovely daughter, Krista" Will was now looking at me. His hazel brown eyes shot me. "Nice to meet you Krista, I'm Will" he said as he lift his hand to reach mine. "Same" I said as I shook hands with him.  "Now let's go inside and have some dinner" My mom said smiling at me. This is getting interesting.
