Chapter 3: Principal's Office

Ring

As the bell rang I head out and went to the Principle's office. As I entered the office I saw that the principle was talking to someone else. Okay, so not exactly talking but the guy was shouting. I waited outside. Then I heard my name "Krista Young" I stand right up when I heard my name. "Please come in" the principle said. As I entered the room, I saw the boy who was just shouting. He was starring at me. I didn't bother him. I looked around the office and saw the principle who was looking disappointed. "Miss Young, please have a seat" the principle said as he look at the other guy "Bryan could you stay outside for a moment?" "Oh, it would be my pleasure" Bryan said stomping out the office. "Miss Young can I have your bag for a moment?" I gave him my bag without complaint. The principle opened my bag and was shock. He was now holding, bags? small bags. Yup it was small bags. "Miss Young why do you have drugs in your bag?" The principle said holding those bags. Wait what? Drugs?! I never thought drugs look like those. "No....wait...I-I c-an explain" I said shacking already. "Oh, please do" the principle said looking a bit intimidating. Oh no I was never good at these stuffs. "You see, early in the morning, s-someone grabbed my bag. I think that they were the once who put drugs in my bag." I said looking down to avoid eye contact. "You think?" the principle said looking in disbelief. "I swear I never had those drugs in my bag" I said on my verge to just shout "This is even my first time seeing drugs" "Okay, Krista. I don't actually believe you but instead of kicking you out of school, I'll just punish you" the principle said looking serious. "So your punishment is, you and Bryan are going to clean the school's garden every Wednesday" the principle said. Great I have to be with that guy. 

"You start this week" the principle said looking pleased. "Bryan" Bryan went inside looking mad. "This is Krista Young" the principle said "The both of you will clean the school's garden every Wednesday" "What if we don't do it?" Bryan slyly asked. "If one of you wont do it, then I will expel both of you" The principle said looking scary. Great now if this guy doesn't come then I'll be expelled. Ugh! "Okay, both of you can go home" the principle said. I got all my things and headed outside until Bryan went towards me and said "Hey you! you better come on Wednesday" Hmph! I should say the same thing. But I never said that. I checked my watch and saw that it was already 5 in the afternoon. Well my parents will be late again. So I don't have to worry about being scolded for being late. As I pass through my neighborhood I saw Bryan and his friends goofing of. They spotted me. "Hey you! with the glasses" One of them said shouting at me. I didn't stop, I just ignored them. "Heh! what a nerd" one of them said, and they went on and laugh. I don't care about those boys commenting on how I looked. Heck! I don't care if I'll be alone when I grow up. I don't need anyone's affection for me. 

Right now I'm consumed with darkness. I can never see any light. Just pitch black. I'm too scared to go out of this shell. I'm too scared to get hurt. I just want to be left alone in the darkness.

As I entered my home, I went to the dinning table and ate, alone. As usual. I went to my room afterwards, did my homework. Instead of reading a book I went outside and look at the stars but I can't see any stars tonight, they are too small. It's hidden and lonely just like me. That's what I thought. But I don't care being lonely. All I care is that I can finish studying, and avoid any love in my life.
