The wide-eyed expression on his face told me he was shocked and confused.
He looked to where the lady and Revin were.
The woman notices Zayn’s attention and waves a hand towards our direction.
The kid, Revin, turns around and beams a toothful of a smile at me.
Zayn turns his head around finally realizing what I meant.
I braced myself for the inevitable.
‘Are you kidding me?’
He blurted out.
I looked at him exasperated.
‘Do I look like I am?’
I asked a bit infuriated by his reply.
‘Oh, Niall…’
He breathed out and rubbed his face releasing my hand from his hold.
‘What?’
I said waiting for an explanation.
He sighed audibly and looked straight at me with a grin plastered across his face.
‘That lady there is my cousin, Veronica,’
He points out the lady in the maroon bikini with the hat.
Revin’s mom, obviously.
‘And clearly, that boy, Revin, is my nephew. And you see that guy, that guy with that cool sun tattoo on his back lining up at that hotdog stall?’
