Chapter 3 - Applicants

-Mr. Lee Sooman's POV-

It's been a week now after we gave out the letters. And its been decides that we only boys are allowed to join.

"Gentleman, we're going to choose 12 magnificent boys. Skillful, Smart and Physically fit. Let's choose wise." They nod and started scanning the applicants paper. Then I sat down on my seat.

Meanwhile outside the room

-Suho's POV-

This is just a waste of time. I thought

"Everyone, please fill out this form" the lady said while distributing the forms "Make sure all informations are legitimate. After filling it up, put it on the front desk. If there's some question feel free to ask. That's all. You may now start." She sounds like a teacher giving an exam

I'm in the middle of filling out my form when someone tapped me on my shoulder.

"I guess you Dad forced you to apply here also." When I turned around my eyea widen a bit I saw Kyungsoo waving the form

"Yeah. How about you? I'm surprised that you're here. This is so not you Kyungsoo-ah." I replied

"Well, It's time for a new challenge. Don't forget I'm a Do my father is the Army General." he smiled

I turn my head and continue filling up the form "Challenge ha?" 

"Why? Don't you feel a little action?" He said. Woah, I can feel that he is really serious about this. 

"No, I think this is just lame" I replied

Kyungsoo and I are friends since gradeschool. Our father are both Generals. He's Army General Do's son while I'm Navy General Kim's son. And we often see each other because our houses are not that far apart.

"Are you done? Let's pass this." I stood up and passed the paper

We sat there and chat while waiting for the next step.

-Author's POV-

"Ms. Tiffany, it's time."

Ms. Tiffany nod and went outside. She called them by 5.

"As I call your name please proceed to the conference room."

The noisy room become silent.

"Byun Baekhyun, Cha Daeho, Choi Minho, Do Kyungsoo and Go Saeyeong. Please proceed to the conference room.

@ The conference room

This is the set up of the Room. Mr. Lee in the front facing the 5 applicants. And board members on his right and left side.

"Byun Baekhyun-ssi?"

-Baekhyun's POV-

"Byun Baekhyun-ssi?"

As soon as I heard my name my beats faster. God, I'm so freakin nervous.

"N-ne. S-sir?" I stutter.

"Don't be nervous. We're just going to ask you about your background. By the ways gentleman I am Mr. Lee the president of Yonfei Organization." Mr. President said

OMO! He seems Nice for a president.

"So Mr. Byun, your father is a.. Hapkido Master?" Mr. Lee asked me

"N-ne. I often join Hapkido competitions if there's any. I also teach children Hapkido whenever I don't have anything to do. My Mother is a former singer. She gave up her career because she wanted a normal family. Well that's what she t-told me. Sorry for being ta-talkative. I'm just nervous."

Oh God. This is a mess! I face palmed my self mentally.

I just bow my head. I heard the members whispering to each other. I looked at them, some gave me assuring smile while some looked at me with can-he-really-be-a-man-of-steal look.

"I my God please help me." I muttered 

The members and the president along with the others beside me laughed. I bowed down my head even further due to embarassment. 

"Don't worry kid. We're not going to kill you." One of the member said in between his laughs. I somewhat feel insulted but I just ignore that feelings. 

"Ok, let's continue. Thanks Mr. Byun for making us laugh." Mr. Lee said

"Let's see. Mmm! As expected, one of the generals son is here."

-Kyungsoo's POV-

"Let's see. Mmm! As expected, one of the generals son is here."

I guess they were talking about me.

"Mr. Do Kyungsoo?" My instinct is always right

"Ne." I answered full of confidence

"So, your father is Mr. Do of Army?" They don't really have to ask me that. It's obvious already just by looking my eyes. 

"Ne." I replied

"Ok, that's all we have to know." Mr, Lee said

That's all? Suho's right. This is lame.

"Mr. Lee, that's all the applicants." Ms. Tiffany

"Ok, thank you. You can go home now." Mr. Lee said. He scanned the papers for the last time and review them before he closed his briefcase. 

"So, this is it." He muttered. 

12 boys. I hope they will not cause me headache. I'll just put my faith to them.
