The Truth

Now Paul and Pat thought this guy was crazy. But Paul stood up. "I don't know how you know our boss...but I haven't the authority to take you to him-" Tom grabbed Paul by his collar and pulled him closer. "You will take me to him...or you get to see me when I'm mad...and trust me...if you don't want your ass to be mounted on my wall...then you WILL take me to him!" Tom yelled. Now Edd and Matt sorta knew what was going on. Edd was trying no to have a panic attack and Matt was comforting him. Pat stood up and yanked Paul away from Tom. "Why do you want to see him so badly?..." Pat asked eyeing Tom. "I just...I don't know I...I just..." Tom actually didn't know why he wanted to see Tord. He hated him. Why did he care?

"Please...just...let me see him..." Tom said as tears fell from his eyes again. Paul and Pat looked at each other. Pat sighed and started walking out the door. "Follow me...its about five miles away so be prepared to walk...and be prepared to walk through woods...." Pat said as the others followed him.

Edd still wasn't too sure if he was ok with seeing Tord again. He honestly thought he died in the explosion. Matt was holding Edd's hand trying to comfort him. 'His hand is shaking...' Matt thought. When they had all walked a little ways they came across a run down old building. "Ok Paul, take Tom down...I'll take Edd and Matt down when you get there." Paul nodded and they pressed a button that was on the wall. A large capsule like thing came out of the ground and it opened like an elevator. "alright...come on..." Paul said, waving for Tom to get on with him. When they both were in the capsule Paul pressed a few buttons and it went back underground super fast.

"Wha...what is that thing?" Edd asked, still terrified. "We want to hide the base...but...we also want to be able to get to London, France, America and some other places quickly...so...Tord and some others have been building this for 7 years...it goes to those places at a click of a button." Pat explained. Matt and Edd just stared at the spot the capsule would come up from. Edd smiled, which confused Matt. The button went from red to green and Pat pushed it again. The capsule came back up and they all got into it. When Pat pressed the buttons it went super speed down and turned in many directions. Edd was holding onto Matt pretty tightly at this point but Matt didn't seem to notice due to his wonder to seeing all the marine life pass by as they were under water.

They slowed down and came to a halt before slowly moving up. They were in a large hallway where there were people in lab coats walking by. Some of them waved to Pat and Pat waved back. "Theres Tom and Paul." Pat said walking over to them. "Took you long enough" Paul joked, making Pat roll his eyes. ""Ok they're here! Can we please-" "Yea yea..." Paul said sarcastically starting to walk down the hallway.

They came to a door with the numbers 399 on it. Tom opened the door and ran in. He stopped though. "T-Tom?..." Tord said as the knife dropped out of his hands. He had cut himself six times across the wrist. Tom walked over and picked the knife up. He cut three slits in his arm before dropping it out of pain. "Wha...why did you do that?" Tord said grabbing Toms arm and looking it over. "F-For every mark...you make...I make one too...you go...I go with you..." Tom said reaching for the knife but Tord kicked it across the room. "I'm not letting you do that!" Tord yelled.

"Listen Tom...please I...on the day I left you guys...I got this not...it said that they would kill you and Edd and Matt if I didn't do what they said! I...didn't believe it...but...I know all that stuff that happened with...the zombies and the aliens Tom...they were trying to hurt you...so I got a second note saying to build the robot and get it to them...so...I came back to work on it...and..." Tord couldn't say anymore due to tears swallowing his words. Tom was surprised to hear this. He almost...trusted Tord. "Is...that true?" Tom asked. Tord nodded, keeping his gaze down. "...I'm sorry..."
