It was midnight.

Tord hadn't even thought of sleeping. He was too busy thinking of Tom and the others.                     He sighed and looked up. He was standing of the roof of the base.                                                                 "Please tell me you're alright..." He said to himself while staring at the stars. He couldn't find their names. Tord looked back down.                                                                                                                          "Tord?" A voice from behind him said. Tord jumped and saw Gray standing there. "Oh...hey Gray...whats up..." Tord said keeping his head down. "Listen...I know you're worried about Tom and everything but...I have a surprise for you." Gray said walking over to Tord with a smile. Tord chuckled sarcastically for a second before turning to Gray with a sad expression.

"Gray...nothing you could do would make me feel even remotely better..." He said turning back to stare at the ground again. Gray's smile dropped and he looked down as well. "But I'm sure if you just open it you'll-" "Gray just!...leave me alone..." Tord said clenching his hands into fists. Gray stepped back a little before looking away. "Well...if you still wan it them here...I'll leave you alone now..." Gray said sliding a small, red box with a black bow on it to Tord before turning and walking away.

Tord heard the door to the stairs open and close. He looked over to the neatly packaged gift and he could have sworn he almost smiled. He took the box and opened it. Tord felt tears stinging his eyes. In the box was a picture frame with a picture of Tom and Tord when they were maybe 6 or 7. They were in a sand pit at the old park they used to go to. "But...how did he get this picture...iv'e never seen it before..." Tord said to himself.

He then saw on the top part of the box was a sticky note. It read: Tord, I found this while looking through some old files, just thought I'd frame it for you. You were 7 and Tom was 6. If you want take the picture out and flip it over. ~ Gray

Tord slowly and carefully took the old photo out the frame and flipped it over. There was a note on it. It was written in terrible hand writing but it was still readable.

Dear, Tord

I hope we be freins forever! You are relly funnie! I nevr want too leev your sid!

Luv Tom!

There was even a little heart at the end.

Tord didn't know what to think. Then a memory came back to him from a long time ago. Tom gave Tord a birthday present, and this was in the card Tom gave him! "I remember! Tom's mother took this photo before the park was demolished! And I had this picture hung up on my wall for a while until I reached middle school at least!" Tord said as he felt a few tears run down his face.

"So you do like it!" He heard Gray say as the door shut behind him. "Would you stop coming up here all sneaky like that!" Tord said wiping his tears away. "I knew you'd like it..." Gray said with a small smile walking over to Tord. Tord chuckled a bit, for real this time as he looked at the photo again.

"We were the best of friends until high school...god I miss the old days..." Tord said in a kinda whispery tone. "We used to go everywhere with each other...and sit together at lunch, walk home with each other, have sleepovers...and right before our friendship ended I got my license and we went to the beach with Edd and Matt for a while...He was my best friend..."

It got a bit quiet. Tord started lightly sobbing as he put the picture back in the box and closed it. "Were going to find him...I promise..." Gray said putting a hand on Tord's sholder. "Hey! You...wanna um...play a game?" Gray said looking away. "Maybe...what game is it?" Tord asked turning towards Gray.

"Its...called the Pocky game..." Gray said with a smile. "Uhh...oookkk...how do you play?" Tord asked as Gray blushed a bit. "Well...." Gray took out a plastic bag from his jacket pocket which contained the chocolate covered breadsticks. "You put the end of one of these in your mouth and...another person does the same...and you each keep biting off a piece until...um..." Gray blushed a bright red and looked away.

"Kiss?..." Tord said turning a bit pink himself. "Y-Yea...But! Whoever has the most in their mouth by the end of it wins! It...It's just platonic!" Gray said with a nervous smile. Tord laughed a little bit. "Sure! Let's play!" Tord said as Gray looked up with a cherry red face.

Gray put one end in his mouth and Tord did the same. They hesitated for a bit until Tord started biting and so did Gray. They were 2 inches away from each other, both cherry red. They stood there for a while until Gray leaned in a little more and their lips touched. They kissed for a while both their eyes closed. Tord ended up wrapping his arms around Gray's neck after a while and Gray wrapped his around Tord's waist.

Tord opened his eyes and jerked back clearing his throat. "Um...g-goodnight..Gray..." Tord said while walking back into the building. "..Goodnight Tord..." Gray said in a quiet tone after the door had closed.

//The next morning with Edd, Matt and Tom//

Tom had a gun to his back. Edd and Matt were chatting quietly as they walked through the woods. They reached the old shed and when they walked in Tom almost passed out as Matt ran around looking at every poster with wonder. "wheres the underground thingy?" Matt asked with a confused face. "Well I gotta hide it! Duh!" Edd said as he removed a certain poster and typed in a keypad. The entire place shook as a staircase appeared right beside Tom.

"Alrighty! Let's go!" Edd said happily grabbing Tom's arm and pulling him along. Tom hadn't said anything in hours. He wasn't planning on saying anything either.

"Where here!" Edd yelled while they all walked into this large room with three hallways connected to it. Matt was screaming for joy while Tom looked down. "Whats the matter Tommie? Isn't it cool!" Edd said getting close to Tom's face. "Heeeey too clooooose!" Matt yelled tugging on Edd's arm. Edd giggled and backed away kissing Matt on the cheek.

Tom knew they were together now. Mostly since he heard all their moans and banging from last night. The walls are thin and it's clear they don't give a shit if he sleeps or not.

"Alright come on Tom." Edd said gradding Tom's wrist again and pulling him down a hallway. They reached a room that said 15 on it and Edd opened it. It was a small room with a bed, small dresser and a bathroom in the corner. Edd threw Tom in and chuckled. "This is probably the only room you're gonna see for a loooong time..." Edd said before slamming the door. Tom heard Edd lock it from the outside.

Tom had pretty much given up at this point. He walked over to the bed, pulled his knees up to his chest, buried his head in them and started sobbing and stayed that way for hours.
