DAY TWO OF AUDITIONS ~
I walked into SM and sat down in the waiting room again. I was honestly starving, and the only reason I didn't eat again was because I was once again nervous. After I had made it to the next test, Dae-hyun and I went out to celebrate. I got a big plate of spicy kimchi to celebrate, but Dae-hyun didn't eat because he had stuffed his face earlier with the SM food in the waiting room. I hope I was dressed okay. I curled my hair a bit, and had on a blue cold shoulder blouse, with white shorts, and some white vans on. The same lady with really short bangs came in to greet me and took me back to a room. When we opened the door to go in, there were so many people in there. Trainees. They were all getting measured.. At least that's what it looked like. I nervously walked over to a corner, and sat down in one of the chairs. I looked at all the groups of people. They were kinda separted. Boys on one side, and girls on the other. Some of the girls were staring at me and whispering to each other, and or snickering. I hated that. It reminded me of when I was back in Texas. People always laughed, snickered, and talked about me behind my back. It hurt. Alot. But I realize now, that if I'm going to be an idol I need to get over it. People are going to talk about me behind my back no matter what, so it doesn't matter anymore. My thoughts were interrupted by a tall Asian guy with brown hair. I looked at him in awe. He was handsome. I smiled at him, and reached out to shake his hand, but he didn't shake my hand. He only stepped back and frown.
"No. I came over here because you're sitting in my seat. Move."
I got up quickly. Realising why the girls were staring at me. I was on the boys side. I smiled an embarrassed smile. "Sorry. I didn't realize there were sides."
"Well duh. We have our own individual seats as well. Look at the back of the chair. It has my name on the back of it. Don't be an ignorant girl. Start paying attention. It's not a good look."
I frowned. "Excuse me? I'm not ignorant. I have a 4.0 GPA, I'm in all honors classes, I speak 3 languages. Fluently, and I doubt you could even count to 10 in any of them. Just because I'm new here, doesn't mean you can call me ignorant. I'm a trainee just like you, so don't think so highly of yourself." I walked over to the girls side and looked for my seat. When I found it I sat down, and glanced over at the guy. He looked shocked. When he met my eyes, he quickly looked away. I smirked, knowing that I had put him in his place.
After a while I was called up to step on the scale. I stepped up on a platform, while a man measured my waist.
"26 inches. Preferred would be 20-24."Huh? Was he crazy? I thought my waist size was just fine. The man then told me to step on a scale so he could determine my weight.
"53kg. (116 pounds) Try to lose about 6 pounds."Six?!? I am already small enough. Imagine me if I lose six pounds. It must have been all that kimchi I had eaten yesterday that gave me the extra pound, but still what the hell was this guy's problem?
After he was done, measuring my feet, my hair, wrists, and other random parts of my body, he handed me a piece of paper. He explained that the rest Ugh. the week I would be training, and that I should follow a certain diet. "Lose five pounds by Saturday, or you'll be cut. Easy right?"
I nodded my head slowly. How was I going to lose five pounds in a week? If I wanna lose that much, I'd have to starve myself. Ugh. I'd have to lock myself in my hotel room and never leave, if I had to do that. I left about an hour later after a lady took us trainees on a tour around SM. They gave us IDs to show that we were sorta trainees. Pretty cool, I thought, but SM is so big I would get lost easily even after the tour. I walked out of the building as soon as it was over, but I was still outside waiting for Dae-hyun. Where the heck was he?? I called him like three times. As I stood there a bunch of black vans pulled up and out came paparazzi with their cameras. I moved back toward the entrance of the building. I was amazed at how many could fit in just four vans, but why were they here, and who were they waiting for? About a minute later another van pulled up except it was grey. The paparazzi immediately rushed up to it, and I could instantly hear the clicks of their cameras. The person that stepped out of the van had their face covered, and had a cap pulled down low covering their eyes. I moved out of the person's way so I could maybe open the door for them, but security blocked me. The person that had their face covered looked at me for a second then, at my ID. I could now tell that he was a male. He grabbed my arm and pulled me inside before I could say anything. Security worked on keeping fans and paparazzi back. I hadn't even noticed the fans. "Kai oppa!!" I heard before they closed the doors. I froze after that. No way. The guy pulled his mask off. It was him. Kim Jong-in from Exo. Aka Kai."Are you okay? You better be glad I saw your ID before they did."
Still in awe, I managed to spit some words out. "Yea. Thank you."
"No problem. Just remember, whenever you leave the building, One, make sure the coast is clear. Two, hide your ID, and three if necessary hide your face for personal reasons. Okay?" He smiled.
I nodded, and smiled back.
"Why were you standing out there anyways?"
"I was waiting on my ride."
"Next time wait for your ride to pull up. It's safer."
Before I could respond I got a text. I pulled out my phone to check. It was Dae-hyun. The text said:
Dae-hyun: Hey sorry I'm late. I got into a dilemma, but it's fixed now. Be there in 15.
Me: Ok.
I looked back up at Kai and apologized for the interruption.
"Sorry that was ride texting me. They said they would be here in 15 minutes.""It's cool. Wanna wait with me while they're on their way? Come on," he said as he waved me down the hallway. Woah. He is so handsome. Much more handsome in real life though. I wonder what the other boys of Exo look like up close. Kai stopped at a door and opened it. He held the door open for me to go in first. My mouth dropped open. Oh. My. God. Yep. They were hot. I didn't have to wonder any longer.
