Emily's POV

We went back to Dash's moms house instead of going back to the engagement party Alison's phone kept ringing "wanna get that?" I said she's laying down on my bed "can you answer it for me please?"

I nod getting up and answering it

"Hello?" I said

"Emily? What are you doing answering Alison's phone?"

It was Noel

"We're hanging out"

"Pass me Alison." He says I press mute "it's Noel" I said she gets up fast taking the phone and puts it on speaker

Alison: Hey babe

Noel: where are you? I'm at your house but your parents said you're in East End? What the hell!

Alison: I'm sorry I didn't tell you it was a last minute thing

Noel: you're with Emily. Are you cheating on me with her ? Cause I swear Alison I will hurt you

I felt my hands getting wet I look down and see I broke a pen in half without realizing it. I can't let him keep treating Alison like this

Alison : I will never im at her friends Dash and Freya's Engagement party We're heading back in two days

I look at her confused we were suppose to leave in the morning

Noel: okay then. I love you

Alison: I..love you too goodnight

She hangs up "does he Always talk to you like that?" I said she nods and looks at my hands "I um snapped a pen"

"I'm sorry I told him we're staying two days I just I need to be away from him and I know you don't like it here so it's okay if we go tomorrow-"

"Don't apologize. And For you we'll stay for two days"

She smiles "thank you Em"

I smile and Nod

"Where were you guys?" Hanna tells us "we just decided to head back here instead of going back to the party" I told her "how are you feeling?" She says "much better now as long as I'm away from my parents I'm good"

My phone beeps I check who it is

Ms. Hernandez : Can we talk?

I've been avoiding her for almost 3-4 weeks "who's that em?"

"The band teacher she's asking if I need any help with my music" she nods "well imma go to Spencer's room and hang out" Aria says I nod and dial Ms. Hernandez

Emily: Ms. Hernandez?

Ms.Hernandez: what did I say Emily? You can call me Mia

I nod "okay"

Mia: So I noticed you've been avoiding me

Emily: I uh yeah I have

Mia: why?

Emily: I feel awkward about what happened i know you didn't mean too but still

Mia: you're dating That Hanna girl right? The one who you saved from the harassment from her boyfriend

Emily: yeah I am. So why'd you call?

Mia: like I said we need to talk. Come by at my apartment tomorrow?

Emily: actually I'm not in Rosewood right now Hanna and I along with our friends came to East End for an engagement party

Mia: East End? Huh

Emily: yup

Mia: well okay then goodnight Emily

Emily: good night Ms. Hernandez I mean goodnight Mia

I hung up and sighed "you look bummed out" I see Alison at the door "Can I tell you something?" I said she sits on the bed "Always what's wrong?"

"Remember when I had that hickey? And you guys asked who gave me it and I said you don't know the person"

"Yes why?" She says "well you do know this person"

"Who was it?"

"Mia" I said "Mia?" She says confused "Ms. Hernandez" I said she looked at me shocked "the band teacher??"

I nod "did you guys? Did you guys have a thing or what?"

"No it's nothing like that she was drunk and well.."

"So she likes you?" She tells me I shake my head "I don't think she does Al It was the alcohol"

"Sometimes when you're drunk you wanna do  things/say stuff you can't do or say when you're sober" she says I thought about it does Ms. Hernandez like me?

"Why did you tell me anyways?" She says "because I trust you."

She smiles "I'm glad because I trust you too"
