Emily's POV
After rehearsing for 4 hours I Went to go get my apartment key copied for Alison "Em are you gonna give Hanna a key to your apartment?" Dash said shocked "no it's for Alison and before you ask no nothing's going on between her and I so you can stop telling me not to cheat on Hanna" I said "so then why are you giving her an apartment key?"
"Sometimes she wants to get away and her parents or boyfriend doesn't know where I live so yeah"
"Why would she want to get away?" Dash asks "because some people need to get away sometimes stop asking questions" I said

We all met up at the mall including Noel he's acting as if he loves and cares for Alison making them believe he's the perfect guy I scoff "are you alright em" Dash says "yeah I am" I said looking at Noel "we should go over there Alison" he tells her "actually I want to stay here" I see her wince I look down and he's gripping her hand I clench my jaw in anger "She wants to stay here. You could go by yourself you're a big boy" I said smiling He looks at me then at Alison she sighs closing her eyes I grab her hand "are you okay?"
"I'm used to it Em."
"I don't know how long imma be able to stay not kicking his ass Alison I was so close"
"Please Emily? Only a couple more months and he goes off to college while I go to another"
"A couple? Alison School started last month!"
"Look maybe he might get bored of me" I scoff "haven't you been together for 2 years?" I told her "what are you two being so secretive about?" Hanna comes towards us with Spencer and Aria "Nothing" we both say I grab Hanna's Hand "Wanna go to the arcade?"
"Id love too" all of us go into the arcade room we played air hockey "So you ready to get your ass kicked?" Hanna tells me I smile "We'll see about that" I put the hockey puck 2 inches from me I smiled and hit it Hanna blocks it hitting it back making the goal "Yes!" She says I laugh "You got lucky there"
She laughs "whatever"

2 hours later
We tried almost every game literally
"Em" Dash comes up to me "What?" I saw the look on his face "Freya she's in the hospital."
I let go of Hanna's hand "What?? What happened?!"
I see he's trying to control his tears "She said I was with her last night that I told her I couldn't leave and I took her to the park. She woke up with cuts"
Instantly I thought of the problem "Shapeshifter" I said "didn't she see the eyes?!" Killian said "She said It was wearing sun glasses"
"Who the hell wears sun glasses at the night and not find it suspicious"
"I'm sorry but did you guys says shapeshifter?" Hanna says
Dash looks at me
"Em I got to go" he says "I'm going with him" Killian says I nod "I'll visit her later till then you guys go comfort her" they nod walking away "What the hell just happened" Alison says "I'll tell you later" I whispered to her
"What are you whispering about?" Noel comes "None of your damn business" I said "I don't get why you're acting like such a punk Emily what did I ever do?"
I clenched my Jaw but then I looked at Alison giving me a worried look I shut my eyes for a second and sigh. I put up a fake smile "You know what? I'm sorry" he smiles "it's all good come on Ali" he grabs her hand and the two of them walk away "Why do you always give him a death glare." Spencer asks "I do not"
"Yeah you do" Aria says "it's just my face"
Spencer and Aria look at each other and shrug "Well we're gonna go back to Spencer's if you guys wanna come you can tag along"
"It's fine" I said I kissed Hanna "Imma go home I need to think"

I went to Alison's house I knocked and her parents open the door they greet me and let me in I smiled "Nice to meet you two I'm Emily Fields. Alison's Friend" her parents smile "Nice to meet you also she's upstairs in her room." They head back to the kitchen and I head upstairs "Ali?" I said a door opens "Em what are you doing here?" She asks shocked I go in her room " I wanted to check up on you I'm sorry I didn't call"
"It's fine" she says distracted she looks out the window "are you okay?"
"Yeah why?"
"You're acting weird and you keep looking out the window" I check and see Noel working on a backyard house "why is he here and why is he working on that house?"
"I wanted to tell you when I was ready cause I knew you'd get mad..But Noel and I are moving in together in the house he's working on."
I look at her confused "What.The.Fuck!?"
"Em be quite." She says grabbing on to her pillow "No! Like hell imma let you live with that bastard" I got up in anger "my parents are letting him." She says quietly "Well your parents don't know what he does to you dammit!" I see her starting to shake I sigh calming down "I'm sorry. I'm sorry..this. This got me upset"
"It's okay.." I pull out the copied key "hold out your hand" I said I lay the key on her hand "what's this?" She says "that is the key to my apartment I copied one for you. Just in case I'm not home or something." I said she smiles and hugs me "thank you Em"
"Anything for you" I whispered "What's going on here?" Noel says Alison hides her key "nothing I was comforting Emily since her friend is at the hospital" she says "oh shit. What happened?"
"She got attacked."
"sucks" he says "yup" I thought of a plan "Must be. Hard work out there huh?"
"Hell yeah tiring as fuck". He says "well I might be a musician and all but I've worked in construction before I could help with that house" he looks at me surprised "really?"
"Yeah"
"What are you doing?" Alison whispers I look at her "like I said I'm gonna protect you. And if it's worth having to work with him then so be it." I took off my hoodie and set it on Alison's Bed "Shall we get working then?" I told him he nods handing me a drill we walked downstairs to the backyard I look at Alison through her window and smiled
