I wanted to laugh so hard.
When she came back down.
Looking like the clothes swallowed her up.She pushed her glasses up.
Stood with her hands on her hips.
And glared."Is this better for you?
You dickhole."
She said bitterly."Much better."
I nodded my approval.
And took her outside. The wind was bitingly cold.
The my eyes were tearing up.
And I still had to shovel the sidewalk.Within five seconds.
She forgot all about how.
She was supposed to be hating me.She ran and jumped and rolled.
In the snow.
Leaving me with all the hard work.I kept a close eye on her.
Cause she was always.
Getting herself in trouble. It wasn't long before.
She got bored enough.
And shoved some snow in my face.I dropped my shovel and chased her.
But she was really agile.
And always a step ahead of me.She tackled me over.
And I landed into the snow.
Hard.Out of breath.
I watched her cheeks get red.
And the snow dusted through her hair. And I wondered.
Why she always.
Looked so perfect."You're an idiot."
She insulted me.
Flicking my nose."So are you."
I shot back.
Pinching her cheeks. We lay there silent.
Just watching.
And possibly waiting.Somehow our eyes closed.
Somehow our lips met.
Somehow it happened.I couldn't tell you.
Who started it.
But I could tell you.Exactly who ended it.
