Luckily, the pair arrived at Seung-hee's house without being spotted. Seung-hee carefully lay Yoonbum on the couch and flopped down onto the floor beside Yoonbum.
"You look worried." said Seung-hee.
"I...I...I'm free..." Yoonbum mumbled.
"Hm? What did you say?"
"I'm...free... I'm free from him...that monster..."
"Indeed you are. We should be safe here for a while."
Seung-hee was incredibly stoic for such an odd situation. His expression had not changed since they had left Sangwoo's house.
Yoonbum faced Seung-he's and smiled slightly, as if he was trying to reassure him that everything was going to be okay.
"How can you still smile? Even after this?" Seung-hee avoided Yoonbum's gaze.
"I told you ... I-I'm free-"
"Yes, yes, you said." Seung-hee sighed and stood up before leaving the room and walking to his bedroom. He left Yoonbum in the living room and closed his bedroom door behind him.
He immediately sunk down to his knees against the door and held his head in his hands.
Truthfully, his mind was struggling to cope with what he had just done. What he had seen. He had become the very monster he hated for murdering his father. He was no better than Oh Sangwoo.
