Adam's P.O.V
"What?" I say when Jerome tells me the news about Mitch proposing to Taylor tomorrow. "What do you mean? He's way to you-" I was cut off by Jerome.
"He doesn't think so obviously.. and it's his choice so maybe we should support him."
Jerome was right. They will both be 20. I remembered I proposed to Dawn last year. I was only 20. I should support my friend and all his choices. I just hope it doesn't end up like Dawn and I, which I doubt will happen because they're such close friends. They've never cared about how much money the other one has. They're just the cutest couple ever.
"Maybe it's for the best." I agreed to say.
"Glad you came to the conclusion buddy," Jerome said. "Now let's go help Mitch go pick out a ring."
"Okay, let's go!" Adam said.
!!!!!P.O.V CHANGE!!!!!
Taylor's P.O.V
"I wonder what Mitch is getting me for my birthday." I say excitedly, hoping I didn't sound desprate to know.
"I can ask Jerome." Elena offered.
"But that wouldn't be right. I want it to be a surprise." I straightened up.
"You really want to know.. don't you?" she said.
"More than you can imagine!!!" I said. It had to be said. "Can you please call Jerome."
"Okayyy." Elena got out her phone and dialed Jerome's number.
"Put it on speaker."
"Hello." I heard Jerome say.
"Umm, by any chance do you know what Mitch is getting Taylor for her birthday?"
"I know Taylor's there with you."
"NO... SHE'S... NOT..."
"Yes she is, I saw yalls post on instagram, good try."
At this point I couldn't help but laughing. I bursted out in laughter and Jerome hung up. Guess I'll find out tomorrow.
