Chapter 7
Mitch's P.O.V

I saw Taylor fall and hit her head on the rock. There was lots of blood up there and it looked like her eyes were closed. I got up on my surfboard and surfed in. She did get knocked out. I ran opened got my phone and called 911.

"Hello? We have a girl that was surfing and she fell and hit her head on a rock and she's knocked out."

I heard them hang up as soon as they found out where we were.

I walked down to Taylor and kissed her on the forehead. I thought to myself it's going to be alright.

"WHAT'S GOING ON?" Adam yelled.

"IS SHE OKAY?" Jerome yelled.

Then they all started yelling things. I just bent down by her face and whispered "it's going to be okay."

For the first time in a long time a tear came from my eye. The thing I loved most in life was in pain. Why couldn't it have been me? All the guys came up soon enough.

"Is she going to be okay?" Jerome asked.

"I don't know." I said struggling and my voice was majorly cracking.

Jerome bent down to me.

"It's going to be okay buddy."

"I sure hope so." I said back.

// 1 hour later//

I was in the ER with my girlfriend. She had woken up, but we didn't know what would happen.

Her eyes opened slowly after a while.

"Taylor!" I said with joy.

"Who's Taylor?" She asked "and who are you?"

She had amnesia. I felt like I was being stabbed through the heart when she asked me who I was. It really hurt.

"I- I'm your boyfriend... Mitch."

Just then the doctors walked in and told me she would have surgery and her memory would return in a few days.
