Writing - that is my passion.
And although this might sound weird coming from a 14-year-old whose language is nowhere near as refined as a professional writer's, having passion is another key to happiness.
FACT, it is our impetuous passion that ignites the happiness in our blood.
So, today's advice: Find your passion, then happiness will come.
The truth is this: you will never be happy doing something you don't like. And although this piece of truth might seem like an excuse to not do anything that makes you unhappy (i.e. homework !!), it really isn't. The reason we go to school - although I'd hate to admit it - is to find our passion. I mean, I would've never known that I want to be a writer if I never took English class in the first place. But, there was something about the words that penetrated into my soul, and the technique each literary art I read consisted of that blew my mind. And from there I decided that I too wanted to write.
But, enough about this personal stuff. Passion is your motivation, your reason to do things. No one else can pick your passion, and that is what makes it so special. Sure, they can influence you, however life is set out for you from the very beginning. What you like, what you're inspired by, it has all been planned out. No one can pick out an activity and go: "oh, that's it, that's your new passion." No one can tell you that, not even your parents.
Passion derives from your personality, from your soul, and only you can truly extract from it.
Sure, you can say that you're happy. But when doing things that is your passion, you're truly happy.
So from now on, never let anyone control your life. If you want to be truly happy, decide on your own path. Don't take into consideration income, how successful you'll be, those things will come later on. What's important is that you do what you enjoy. And although it is nice to have money and be rich, money cannot buy happiness. It's better to be happy doing what you do than be forced to do something you don't enjoy because you need the money.
Your passion and your happiness is the most important thing you should consider.
Never let anyone set your limits for you. Youth is not a problem, talent shouldn't get in the way, and their words should never ever discourage you. And if their words do, let me just tell you right now that you're extremely talented, intelligent, hard-working, and you can do anything you set your mind to. The human mind, the human body, they're both amazing things. Nothing is impossible, no dream is unachievable. Believe in yourself.
If you let others control your life, your happiness ends up being controlled too.
