Let me introduce you to a few of my friends. My best friend is Faith. Faith is literally the most awesome, smart, and pretty girl ever. She is also my roommate at my boarding school. She's sorta crazy, and super protective of her friends. AKA... moi. That protectiveness is the reason she went to boarding school with me, and I can't imagine staying anywhere without her. It can get a little bit annoying at times, but she means well. Faith has fair skin, and dark brown hair and eyes, and ruby red lips. She's model pretty, but not super-model pretty. The super-model of our group would be Claire (you'll learn about her later). Anyway, Faith is literally one of the only things keeping me together.
Like me, Faith has a few powers of her own. She has the power to read minds, transmit her thoughts to others, and make someone go insane if she really wanted to. She never has, but when she manifested, like me, she just knew that she could do it. We have a pact not to use our powers on each other, unless one of us feels like the other one needs help. For instance, once we were at a party, and we got separated. Faith then used her powers to transmit where we should meet. Yeah. Her and I are legit the best partners. Most of the girls that I hang out with have powers. Luna (lythokinetic), Eli (telekinesis and can erase memories), Tara (inflictor), Erastes (technopath), Leila (Mesmer), Claire (conjuror), Effie (supersonic speed), Elsa (Froster), Ava (can control the wind), and, last but not least, Lexa (hydrokinetic).
Of course, I have other friends who do not have powers, but I prefer to hang out with these people. They just are not as fun, so I do not really hang out with them much. Okay, so, I hate saying things like "oh, yeah, I lead my friends and I'm a great leader and yada yada yada." However, I honestly am 'the leader' of our group. When someone has a power, I somehow figure out and let them join the protection of my group. Just so we are clear, us with powers are almost always being hunted. First, let me give you some background about how I met these people, and how I figured out that they had powers.
Yes. i know. this is a strange ending but deal with it.
