Lexa Griffin:
"Hey Kassandra! Hey Faith!" exclaimed Luna as Faith and I walked down the hall to our class. "Hey Luna! You do know that you can call me Kas, right? How are you and Eli faring?" I sweetly smiled. "We are like, perfect for each other. But, Eli keeps having the idea to cut down the wall in-between our 2 dorms so it could be like 1 big room." Luna said. "I think that is actually a great idea!" pronounced Faith. "I do too!" I proclaimed. "What do you think is a good idea?" Eli asks skeptically as she walks towards our group homework spot. Her streak of hair that day was bright neon green. "Tonight, we are going to cut down the wall between our 2 dorms!" Faith whispered excitedly to Eli. "Yay!" Eli replied happily.
"Y'all look really suspicious standing in a circle and whispering ya know." commented a girl that I have no clue who she was. She had chocolate hair and eyes. Immediately when she walked up to us I felt her personality was a little overbearing. Her number was a 4. At the time, that was extremely strange. I had to find out what was going on with her. I tapped the back of Faith's hand twice to let her know to sneak in my head for thoughts and to get back to me. 'Her number was a 4. Get in her head. Tell me what you find. I will notify Eli and Luna. We will meet you back at the dorms in 20 minutes.' I told her. 'See ya then. Will tell you the results.' she responded immediately. "So, Eli, Luna and I have to go attend to something, but we will see you guys later?" I inquired, giving Luna and Eli a pointed look. "For sure. BTW, I'm Lexa Griffin." replied Lexa casually. "Come on guys." I said, directing my words toward Eli and Luna.
As we were walking down the hall, I got an urgent message from Faith. 'This girl is a hydrokinetic. The hunters told her about you. Get your butt over to the homework spot. You need to talk to her.' 'Holy crap. Be there in 2.' I responded. "Guys, Code Purple. You guys start working on the wall." I said aloud. Code Purple is our established way of notifying each other if there were to be someone else with a power, or powers, of some sort. "Hurry up then. And we will.", replied Luna. I began to sprint down the hall, weaving in and out of the crowd of students. Before I turned the corner to get to our study spot, I stopped, straightened myself out, and walked in. "Hey, Faith, I forgot, we have a meeting to attend in 20. Do you want me to cancel?" I requested nicely, giving Faith a look that said 'get in my head NOW.' 'What do you need?' her voice asked. 'Say Yes. NOW.' "Uh, yeah. Let's re-schedule for another time." She returned confusedly. "Let me just make the phone call really quick." I replied swiftly.
I walked back around the corner, pulled out my phone, and called Eli. "What's up? Who is it?" she asked immediately. "Whoa chill. This girl named Lexa Griffin." I reply coolly. "If she accepts my offer," "Wait, what offer?" Eli inquired readily. "Ya know, like, the offer I made you. Come live with us in our dorms live under the protection of the group and safety of the group, and pledge to fight along-side us at all costs? That one." I countered dully. "Oh, ok. See ya later! If she accepts your little offer, text us so we can get a makeshift bed ready for her! Get back to it! Bye!" she exclaimed excitedly. I heard a beep. She had hung up. It was time to go out and find out if this girl really was a hydrokinetic. I strolled back around the corner, and started a conversation with Lexa. "So, do you want to go get some hot chocolate? We have a discount, and I am friends with the person who works there." I said casually. "Sure! Sounds great!" she replied excitedly.
While at the restaurant, Faith and I grilled her with questions, just so that we can see if she was trustworthy. Eventually though, we ended up having to drop the bomb question. "Has anything paranormal, or unexplainable, ever happened to you?" Faith asked seriously. "Yes." she replied sheepishly. "What? Don't worry, we won't tell anyone. We promise." I said with a low voice, so that nobody heard us. "Well, I have something in my life that I have never been able to explain. But I don't know if it is such a good idea to demonstrate it here. Do you have a bathroom in your dorm?" she replied in a whisper. "Yeah. We do. Come with us back to our dorm. Follow us." Faith said mutedly. We all stood to get back to the main building.
Once we were on our way to the dorm, I called Luna and told her and Eli to clean up. We were about to have a guest in the house. At the dorm, we led Lexa to the bathroom. I also noticed that the dorms were actually spotless as if the Headmistress was about to do her rounds. "May I turn on the faucet? It's needed if I am going to show this to you." She asked confidently. "Sure!" I exclaimed happily. "Ok. Here goes nothing." She said as she reached over to the sink to start the water. She turned the handle, and the water that began to be spit out was forming a ball in her hand. "Holy crap!" Faith exclaimed as the water then began to snake out to the sink. Lexa put her hand over the sink and the water dropped in a graceful flow. "What? Are you ok?" she asked, seeming honestly concerned. "No, it's just, that was amazing! I can't believe we found another one! Can you Kas?" Faith asked me excitedly. "Wait what? What do you mean, 'found another one?' Are there more of me?" she inquired me confusedly. "Well, yes. A few people here have powers. You are looking at two of them right now. I am a telepath, and Kas has a danger radar and inhuman strength." Faith started nervously.
"Anyone else? You made it sound like there would be more than you two." Lexa commented confidently. "Luna! Eli! Come in here!" I called out to my friends that were chilling in the other room. "Coming!" Eli and Luna replied simultaneously. "Y'all, why don't you tell Lexa what powers you have. Capiche? Capiche." I said in my 'you better do it, or I will murder your face' voice. It was the first time that they had heard it and when I used it, they pretty much freaked for about 6 precious seconds. Of course after that, they straightened themselves out and spoke with confidence. "Hey! I'm Luna! And I am a lythokinetic, according to Kas." Luna exclaimed. "What is a lythokinetic?" Lexa questioned sweetly. "It means I can control earth and such." Luna replied patiently. "And I can erase memories and have telekinesis. Like, watch this." She stated as she thrust out her arm to make the faucet turn back on. "Cool.", exclaimed Lexa.
"Can I stay here with you guys? My roommate is gross, and it is so hard to not use my ability when I'm around her." She said calmly. "Sure." Faith countered dangerously. "Eli, Luna, Kas? Can you get a bed set up for her? I have to talk to the newbie. Follow me Lexa. We need to talk." 'Don't worry. I am just going to give her the rules. You know, whatever Kas says goes, don't question the group decision, etc. Don't worry; I'll bring her back all in one piece.' Faith transmitted. 'You'd better. Or I'm going to hit you with it.' 'Chill. I know.' she replied as she led Lexa out of the room. "So, what were you 2 talking about? And don't even think about telling me that you two were not communicating telepathically. We both know that you were." Eli commented skeptically. "Chill, she's just giving her the rules of the group. Even though they aren't rules. Faith is just being her protective self. As always." I said nonchalantly. "She never gave us that talk." She replied just as Faith and Lexa walk back in. Lexa's face was blanched and she looked like she just had the living daylights scared out of her. Faith had a smug smirk on her face.
"Well, Lexa, your bed is made. I will go notify the room-keepers that you have moved rooms. If there is anyone else with powers here, I will purchase another dorm." I explain calmly and patiently. "Wait, you can buy dorms. Moreover, how much do these dorms cost? How much money do you have?" Luna asked confusedly. "Uh... yes, you can buy dorms; they only cost 20 for a nether, 30 for a flier, and 50 for a pent. I have a good amount of money. You must have forgotten that I have a job and wealthy family members." I said with obvious boredom. "Oh, wow. Even I didn't know that." Faith stated. "Well, we are all together. Now, everyone, our job is to find people that have powers, if there are anymore. Welcome Lexa- and congrats!-, everyone here can call me Kas."
Sorry it took so long to update. School was busy. yeah. life is cool.
