I was frantically running though the streets for any shelter or somewhere that will take care of little Amelia. Thunder pounded though the sky like horses, flashes of like could be seen in the distance. I could feel my heart pounding against my chest, as my little baby cried. I ducked in an alleyway where there was some shelter from the storm.

I unwrapped her little face a bit. "Shh shh shh it's ok daddy's here" I whispered as i stroked her head. She let out little laughs, a small smile crept on my face. She looked up at me with a bright blue eyes, they were so innocent, full of wonder and curiosity, I could feel that one day she's going to do the world some good.

She wiggled her little hands out as I brought her closer to my face, she let out a baby giggle as she grabbed onto my nose. I felt my smile get bigger. I made little flame bunnies and birds and flew them around her, they let off a soft orange glow.

She reached out to them trying to catch them. I heard a bin be knocked over, I let out a gasp as I made them disappear, covering her back up, holding her closer to me. My breath shortened as foot steps got closer.

My head darted for a exit, I ran back out of the ally as I continued running. I got more tired but determined with every step. I soon came across a holding house, it looked beat up and run down.

'better any place than none' I thought as I walked up its steep steps, clutching onto her. I bashed on the door looking behind me, to make sure I wasn't followed. The door opened to a young but old woman. She had her hair up in a messy bun, she had on a old pink dressing gown with some blue warn slippers.

"Hello" she crocked rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. "Yes hi do you mind if I come in" I asked she opened the door wider in response. "What are you doing with a new born, at 2 o'clock in the morning, in a storm" she asked with a small yawn, as I looked out the peep hole, I took a sigh of relief before turning to her.

"Will you take her" I asked with a heavy heart. "What" she whispered in shock. "Will you take her please she won't be safe with me" I said close to tears. The woman nodded "yes I can take her, what's her name" she asked.

"Amelia.."I trailed as I sensed a abnormality in the area, "look I have to go, who ever adopts her or fosters her, give them this and tell them only the baby can open it when she's old enough" I explained shakily as I unwrapped her face one last time before laying a kiss on her sleeping forehead.

"I love you so so so much I would give the world for you, be strong" I said as tears came down my face. I pasted her over to the woman.

"Make sure she goes to a good home" I said before walking out the door that I entered from, I sighed sitting down on the step as I let myself disappear before I was home.

I hope I get to see her someday....
