Amelia's POV:
So today I had my first dose of craziness and I love it. This is all so new to me but it seems all so formiller and natural, I kind of like it, Ian thought it would be better if he waited until he was back to normal as along with his body his powers reverted back to when he was 10.

So today's the day, the day that I'm supposedly to try out my powers and the day they are supposed to be back to normal. But I have my doubts about all of this Ian's talking as if I can do it when I...I can't, I've tried and tried and I can't, I know it's only been two days but it's just I don't want to disappoint him, I've been studying the books that he's told me to study and I have but it's the practical side to it.

Ian's shown me different ways of making powers happen. But none has prevailed, I'll have to try my best even if I let him down, I could be a dud and I wouldn't even know it.

But all that aside wake up.

I opened up my eyes, to the soft glow of the sun, before something hard but soft landed on my nose. I groaned as I took it off. It turned out to be the book I was reading last right. I put it on my bedside as I sat up and rubbing the sleep out of my eye before putting on my glasses.

I looked around the room as my eyes adjusted noticing that there was more books on my desk and bottles arranged as if they were set up for something. I got up and stretched as I walked over to it. There was a a beautiful china bowl, with roses around it and a note.

This will be your first lesson of elixir and potions.

This will help you greatly on our path to being awesome and prepared for anything

~Ian

P.s: love you xx

I chuckled to myself, he's stupid and I love him for it. I smiled to myself as I put it back. I walked out to hearing their prepubescent voices.

"No I want the cookie" Anthony said as I walked into them fighting over the last cookie. "No I woke up first and I saw it first" Ian said. "I'm older and taller" Anthony boasted as he pushed Ian "well I saw it first and that what counts" Ian said pushing him back.

"What are you two going on about" I asked "he took my cookie" Ian huffed "your 29 year olds in 10 year old versions of yourself, talk about acting your age" I laughed. "We've been like this for two days give us a break if you were stuck like this you would want to act like it ok" Anthony huffed.

"True you do have me on that one" I said "so when is it supposed to wear off" I asked "in an hour or two" Ian clarified snatching the cookie off anthony. "Hey give it back" Anthony scolded "give it here" I said taking it out of Ian's hand breaking it in two "now you can both have the last cookie" I laughed at there shenanigans

"Yeah" they both cheered before shoving their cookie half in there mouths. I chuckled "I always knew that you were kids at heart" I laughed "and we still are" Anthony proclaimed. "Ok if you say so, I'm going to have a shower and while You two make breakfast ok" I chuckled walking out to the bathroom.

A sharp pain shot through my skull, I clutched onto it, trying not to fall by supporting myself on the wall. It slowly went away I took heavy breaths as I stumbled into the bathroom. I could feel myself getting more light headed "oh no, no no no no no no, not again" I said shakily as I lent on the sink to support me as my breathing got deeper.

I looked up to see my reflection had changed to a demonic vision of myself with fire and pain around me, "no I can't be, not the darkness no" I said as the pain shot through but even worse, as if a knifes was being stabbed in it. I crouched as i held my head. Before everything went fuzzy, my breath increased rapidly as I went down as everything went black.

Ian's POV:
I could feel myself getting tingly "I think it's starting to where off" I said as I felt myself grow taller as my clothes tightened to fit me again. I looked down to see that everything was back to normal. I looked up to Anthony, he patted himself up and down.

"Hell yeah no more small mussels" Anthony exclaimed with glee jumping up and down clapping his hands. Before a thud was heard, "what was that" I questioned, "Amelia" I called there was no answer.

"Continue with breakfast, I'll check on her" I said as I went down the hall "Amelia are you ok...." I trailed as I poked my head into the bathroom. She was laying lifeless like a rag doll that had been chuckled on the floor carelessly.

I kneeled down next to her "Amelia" I said softly putting her into the recovery position "Lia, come on, don't do this to me, Amelia" I said growing more concerned. I checked her polce and her breathing, normal. "Amelia" I said cupping her cheek lifting her head up slightly. Her face was at a nice resting point, even if she was cunconous.

"Anthony quick" I called "she's blacked out again" I added he came running in. "Oh my god, what should we do is she breathing and is her heart pumping" he freaked looking down at her as he crouched down. "Get pillows and put them on the couch and make it comfy, and I'll make sure she doesn't have a concussion or has broken anything" I said as I made a pillow out of a towel and gently put it under her head. Before getting my book on medicine and remedies, and healing spells.

Anthony stopped at the doorway with a load of pillows in his hands. "Nows not the time to be reading Ian" he said before continuing on "it is if you want her to get better" I called as I flipped through the pages, trying to get to the right section.

"Here it is, if the person has hit there head it's advised to use remedies and appear to the area of the head where it is located. If it is a feather use natural medicine as it helps the body's emune system and if the person is unconscious or has fainted/blacked out it is best to use your healing power as it will be able to enter the brain and fix what had happened" I read aloud studying every word.

I checked her head which had bumps from this impact and some scratches. "Ok right Anthony help me move her to the couch and well go from there" I called as he came running in. "Right you carry and I'll support her head ok" I said as he nodded as he picked her up. I held her head up with the make shift pillow I had made. We laid her down and gently as we could as I took away the towel.

"Go wet this and we can put it over her head, maybe it could stop some of the bruising" I said as I ran my hand across it gently not trying to hurt her while trying to soove her slumber. I read a bit more in the book to find a spell that would help her or at least stop it. One court my eye "this is the one" I said to Anthony as he came back with a wet flannel.

"Lungisa lokho okubangelwa ukukhanya kokuntwela konke kunzobuyiswa" (Translation: Fix what have been caused, cause the light of dawn everything shall be restored) I said as my hand glowed a soft orange. Can I could feel it working a small smile crept on my face as I put all my might behind it.

"Ian why is it not working" Anthony asked concerned taking her hand "in trying as hard as I can and your putting me off" I said as my breath escaped me before I was sent flying across the room "ok plan B" I groaned getting up.

"What's plan B" Anthony asked
