The Wedding (part 2)

Eren's POV

Everyone turned around and saw a girl in white. Her dress was beautiful against her skin, and she looked stunning.

Her dress was white with intricate laced designs on it. Her jewelry glittered in the sun as she walked past people.

Everyone drunk in the scene and couldn't stop looking as she held the pastel, pink roses.

Her vail was white and flowed down off her dress. It dragged behind her, and was attached in her hair.

Her father held her arm with pride as he walked her daughter down the aisle.

People teared up and cried as she walked past them. She gave me a sneer as she went by me.

I must admit, she looked very beautiful. I would understand if Levi were to say yes to her.

I could be nothing like her, she's a model. I'm just a simple boy that worked at a flower shop.

There just isn't anything special about me, but Levi loved me. I don't know why, but he loves me for who I am inside.

We all sat down as she mounted herself onto the podium. She held Levi's hands softly and looked at him.

His gaze was cold and heartless towards her, and I could tell he didn't want to hold her hands.

The priest cleared his throat and looked up. "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today in celebration of Mr. Ackerman, and Ms. Taylor's marriage."

It had started, and it wouldn't be long until both of them were bound to each other by rings.

She gazed lovingly into Levi's eyes, but he didn't want to look at her.

The session pressed on, and the rings were brought out. A little girl held the pillow and walked towards them.

"Now, Mr. Ackerman, please place the ring onto the finger of your bride." The priest asked.

Tears welled up in my eyes as he gently took the ring. I saw it shimmer in the sun, as he took her hand.

She sighed happily as Levi slid the ring into her delicate finger.

"Ms. Taylor, please place the ring on the finger of your groom." He asked.

She took the golden ring and slipped it on Levi's finger. He looked at it carefully and their hands connected once more.

"And now that you two have placed this token on each other, I shall say a small prayer for your happiness."

Everyone bowed their heads in respect as the priest said his words. Blessing them both.

"Everyone rise," he asked. We all stood up and here was the final minuets of the ceremony.

"Anyone who does not want this marriage, speak now, or forever hold your peace." The priest asked.

A lump formed in my throat and I flinched, but I knew it was over. I stayed down and didn't say anything.

"Now, Ms. Taylor, do you take Mr. Ackerman to be your lawfully wedded husband? And love him for all eternity?" He asked.

"I do," she said. Everyone 'awed' as she smiled at Levi.

"Mr. Ackerman, do you take Ms. Taylor to be your lawfully wedded wife?" He asked.

The breeze stilled, and everyone grew quiet. My breath stopped as everyone waited for his answer.

Time went by slowly and he said nothing. He slowly swallowed and met my gaze.

We looked at each other, as he let go of his brides hands. Turning his body in my direction.

Time stilled even more and my eyes widened as he said three words that made my heart skip.

"I do not."
