Eren's POV

We looked at each other until Levi said those words. My heart pounded hard when he got off the alter and walked to me.

People were gasping and the bride was shocked. Everyone watched as Levi grabbed me and kissed me deeply.

My hands rested on his shoulders, while his on my waist. I closed my eyes and savored the kiss.

"Levi what the fuck!?" She yelled at us. We stopped our kissing session, and Levi put me behind him.

I gripped onto his tux as he yelled at her. "You fucking whore! Don't you say my name like you know me." He spat.

"You! You are the one who continues to hurt me! I know your affair with Eren!" She yelled.

Levi's POV

"Eren!?" Erwin yelled at me and didn't seem to be happy. He had found out about my little secret.

"Fuck." I growled. I had kept him hidden all this time and now this.

"Eren?" A male with brown hair and glasses said. He came out of the crowd of people and slowly walked to the boy.

I guarded him and growled, showing everyone how protective I was of my brat.

"Son?" He asked.

Eren's eyes widened and he pushed my hand down. "Father?" He squeaked.

They started to walk to each other. Eren's arms out as tears slid down his face. After so many years, they were finally reunited.

Bang

Blood splattered everywhere as a body fell onto the ground. People screamed as Eren looked down.

There on the ground laid Eren's father. A gun shot wound spilt blood on the pavement, and Eren looked mortified.

"Eren! Get down!" I screamed. Lunging at the brunette, I tackled him down when another shot was taken.

"Get away from him Levi!" Erwin screamed at me. He loaded his gun once more and pointed it at us.

"Erwin stop it! Can't you see that Eren is innocent?!" I covered the boys body with mine.

Eren shivered and cried against me as I shielded him from the monster.

"I don't care if he is or not, get out of the way or else I'll have to kill you too." He snapped.

"If you want to kill him, you gotta kill me first." I stared back at Erwin with a glare.

"Levi no! Stop it, please don't do this for me! Let me go, I've lived my life." Eren begged.

I looked down at Eren and gave him a small smile. His hands cupped my cheeks gently as he sniffed.

"No Eren, I will protect you with my life. I will not let you get hurt again." I said, stroking his cheek.

"Levi please, don't do this." Eren cried. He put his face into my neck and sobbed. "I love you."

I wrapped my arms around Eren's body and held him close. "I love you, too." I whispered.

Bang

"Get away from them!" A girl screamed. Erwin's arm was shot, and his gun was dropped.

I looked up at the girl and saw my ex with a gun in her hands. "Be careful!" Eren begged.

She walked over to Erwin and put her foot on his back. "I may love Levi, but I know real love when I see it."

"Levi made a deal, he's in the business and he knows this will get him killed!" Erwin argued.

"I don't give a shit! You had better give this up or I'll have to force it on you. I'll kill you if I have to!"

She held the gun up Erwin's head, and he finally seem to come to his senses.

"Fuck, alright!" He swore.

"You swine." She spat on him and shot the gun right next to his head.

"Oh, and if I hear you threatening or even thinking about him? I'll kill you." She hissed.

"Y–Yes ma'am!" Erwin cried.

I looked at her in astonishment but heard shuffling from under me.

"Father!" Eren cried. He ran over to his dad's side and held onto him tightly. "No, no dad you can't leave me again!" He begged.

It was too late, Mr. Jeager was gone. His skin was pale and ice cold. Eren knew this, but he didn't except it.

Eren rocked his dad back and forth in his arms while crying. We all gathered around Eren in silence.

I held Eren's shaking body in my arms, letting his cry against me. I felt so bad for putting him through this.

But, isn't this the price for being a killer?
