Sweet Things - Edd x Matt

First Date

Still Matt's POV 

The kiss broke after a minute, it was, marvellous, I always been too afraid to do it. "Alright, my turn." I said with a bright smile. "Truth or dare, Edd?" I asked him. "Uh...dare!" He responded with a wide grin. "...give me a minute I need to think of a good one!" I started to think of a good dare. I grinned widely as I put my finger up, noting I had come up with one. "I dare you.."

The game lasted for another 15 minutes since we couldn't really come up with any ideas. "Edd?' I looked at him. "Would you like to go out for a late night dinner, it wouldn't be the best first date since it's just fast food, but it'll still be fun." I asked nervously as I looked around the room, and played with the string of my purple hoodie. "I would love that." He replied. 

~Time skip to date~

We were now at McDonald's now, ordering our food, it was about 1:20 in the morning, from what my phone said, we sat down at a table, across from each other. He looked so cute as he was chowing down a fry, and taking drinks from his cola.  I love him so much. 

Edd's POV

Being on my first date with Matt was pretty nice, even though it was late and we were at McDonald's it was still nice, just being alone with someone I deeply loved, I still wondered what Tom and Tord were up to, probably banging in some bar bathroom, why did I even think of that? Gross.  I mean, Matt can-...no, not even going to think about that now!

Matt was honestly the most beautiful man I have seen, his confidence in himself and his self-love made me happy, though he was cocky sometimes, but I loved it, I just really loved him, he would always make me happy when I was down, He's perfect for me. I was smiling at my thoughts and admiring the pretty ginger sitting across from me. I tossed a salty fry at him, it hit him in the head, and I couldn't help but laugh. "My beautiful head!" He almost shouted, picking up the fry I threw at him and ate it.

He reached his hand on placed it on top of mine, while my other hand was holding a burger. My cheeks crimsoned as I watched him, I didn't say anything yet since my mouth was full of food, but when I swallowed, I said. "You have nice hands." I continued to eat until I was finished my burger, going on to eat my fries again, I was able to hold onto his hand now, they were soft. 

"Can we go for a late night walk, I thought it'd be somewhat romantic." He asked me, flashing me a toothed grin. "I think that would be great." I responded and threw  away the trash, and we left, I still had the cola I got from the drink machine, we walked hand in hand back home, and when we got  back we cuddled each other, until we fell asleep, it was a good night.
