Ever After High: The Mermaid's Tale

Chapter 2: Gin's Oppinion

I swam back and forth when I remembered Grandpa's words.

You are a Little Mermaid. You need to go to Ever After High to follow you Mother's destiny.

I shivered at my Gradpa's words. I dont want to follow my destiny. I dont want to be the Little Mermaid and I dont want to go to Ever After with legs!!! That is horror!! Even though I can turn to a mermaid and a human I dont even like being a human because... um... you know I am quitely shy and um.... you get the point. Anyways, what if the Headmaster knew that I wont follow my destiny? I heard that he doesnt like students not to follow there destinies. What if.... what if.....

"Hex Meesh. You ok?" I jumped when I heard a voice behind me. I looked behind and sighed in relief. I saw my bestfriend Gin, Guper's son (a/n: is it correct?), was actually behind me.

"Oh its just you." I sighed.

"What happed to you? You look like you seen a ghost or your stepfather." He laughed. Even though he is a fish and Guper's son he isnt like his father; a scardy fish and a Guppy, he is actually a joker. I actually call him Jokie Fish because of that.

"Um no. Its actually something that is hard to hexplain." I said and started to swim.

"What, what? Hard to hexplain? What is that?" He said and followed me.

"I will tell you in my hideout." I replied and continued swiming.

Fast forward

We arrived in my secret hideout. Remember from my mother's destiny? That she has a secret hideout to keep all her human collections? Well I actually also haved too but the only thing is I dont put any human collections, I put Underwater collections.

"So what is it that you say is 'hard to hexplain' kind of thing?" He started to asked.

I first to my underwater collection before answering, "Well actually Grandpa said I need to go to a school so that I could learn to follow my destiny.' I started.

"Well what is wrong with that?" He asked laughing.

"You dont understand. Its not an underwater school its a.... *sighed* Human school." I said biting my lip.

I saw him eyes wide. "Wh-what? Hu-human school?"

I nodded in reply.

"But what school did he said you need to go to?"

I looked at him and said, "To Ever After High."

He smiled. "Then why are you so afraid? You know that school is only for fairytale children and you are a fairytale child."

I looked at him in his green eyes. "You dont understand. You know I dont like my destiny and I heard that the Headmaster of that school doesnt like students that dont like there destinies. What if he punishes me because I dont want to follow my destiny? What if he hexpelled me because of that? Or worst..." I panicked.

"Woah... woah... Slow down Meesh. I dont think he will do that." He said.

"But what if he does it?" I panickly said.

"Look Meesh. I know you dont like your destiny. I know you dont like to be like your Mom. Me too I dont like to be like my father. I dont even like to be like a Guppy like him but that doesnt mean you need to follow your destiny just because of the Headmaster scaring you because of that. You need to follow your own destiny and if you get hexpelled then let it happed but as long you dont want to follow your destiny and that only matters. Okay?" He ressuringly said.

I think hard on his words. His right. I dont need to follow my destiny just because I am afraid of that and that only matters.

"But what if I dont have any friends their?" I asked him.

He just smiled. "Oh Meesh." And laughed. I also laughed with him. Even though he sometimes be a joker he is the best adviser and bestfriend I ever have.

And I am lucky to have him as my bestfriend.
