"We just try to keep those secrets in a lie"

"Taehyung?" A familiar voice said. Both young men looked up and saw that Jo was hovering over them. "Hi Jo. How is your grandmother?" Hoseok asked. Jo raised an eyebrow. "My grandmother is on vacation right now. Why do you ask?"

Taehyung gulped and sat up. "Oh look at the time. Jo and I should get going now so bye Hobi" he said awkwardly. He scurried onto his feet and pulled Jo in a different direction. "Stop it. Hoseok, why are you asking about my grandmother?" Jo interrogated. As Hoseok was about to speak, Taehyung ran over and covered his mouth.

"There's no reason, Jo. Hoseok was just being curious. He respects his elders. Right hyung?"

Jo glared at Taehyung and he quickly moved away from Hoseok. "You told him something about my grandmother, didn't you? I don't know what you told him but I have a feeling that it wasn't good " she growled.

She waved at Hoseok and marched away. "Taehyung, just marry Hoseok already. We all know that you-"

"Look Jo! It's Kumamon!"

"Where?!"

Taehyung started laughing and
Jo groaned. "You're an idiot."

|Hoseok|

What was that all about? Why would Taehyung lie about Jo going to her grandmother's house? That kid is so weird sometimes. I got up off the grass and watched the couple walk off before leaving the park. I felt kind of sad watching Taehyung leave. We didn't even spend that much time together.

I guess I shouldn't be upset though. He has a girlfriend after all. Besides, I'm just his best friend from the past. Nothing more, nothing less. In almost all friendships, someone finds a partner and they end up forgetting all about their friends. That's just how it is.

It sucks but what could I do?

"Miran~" Jungkook sung skipping over to his girlfriend. Miran looked up from her book and raised an eyebrow. "What is it?" she asked. Jungkook pouted and sat beside him. "Come on~ it's summer. You should be having fun" he said, his bunny smile on display.

"Um, reading is fun. Maybe not to you but it is to me."

Jungkook had an expression that said I'm so done. "Is reading more fun than going outside?" he asked with hope apparent in his tone. "Well actually-"

Jungkook cut Miran off by covering her mouth. "We're going outside. End of story." Miran sighed and just gave in. "Alright. But where are we going?" asked the shorter girl?

"It's a surprise"

Miran placed her book down and hopped up. She reached out for Jungkook's hand and they laced their fingers together before heading out.

While walking the two ran into Hoseok. "Hyung!" Jungkook exclaimed as he went over to the elder. "What's up?" He asked. Hoseok smiled and said hello to both him and Miran. "Are you guys on a date or something?" He asked. Miran looked as if she was in deep thought before nodded. "I guess you could call it that" she told Hoseok with a shy smile.

Jungkook chuckled at Miran's behavior and tugged on his arm. "Let's get going. It's no fun when it gets dark out~" he whined. Hoseok let out a low laugh before waving the two lovebirds off. "You kids go have fun. I'm gonna head home now."

"I am not a kid" said the cute bunny boy. He groaned and walked off hand in hand with Miran. "Stop overreacting" The shorter girl said with a chuckle. Jungkook pouted. "You're so cold to me"
