Friki Fraternity

CHAPTER 6

I was getting ready for my date with Leo when Xander came in to my room. He asked me what I was getting ready for and I told him I had a date. He started acting a bit akward after that almost as if he was a little bit jealous or something. I don't know maybe I missread his expression. I forgot about Xander when i was with Leo. I forgot about everything. It was weird. Never in my 18 years of life have I felt like this. Sure I've had boyfriends and gone out with guys (especially after getting my braces off and I could actually kiss properly) but it never felt like this. I had butterflies in my stomach my palms were sweaty and I could feel myself going red. I could hardly speak. It was so embarrassing. But I was fine after the first 5 deadly minutes and we could actually have an interesting conversation. He asked me why I had come to Spain if I was from London and of course I got so sad and teary eyed because it made me think of my dad who I really miss despite the circumstances . Leo was really sweet and understanding though. He said his parents were also broken up but he was living with his mum before he came here not his dad. I was so glad Leo didn't think I was too sentimental. When I felt better I asked him why he was here and he said he was actually in a singing duo back in Wales and he was the rapper. I thought that was awesome.
The hot chocolates in La Boulangerie are amazing! Leo was so right! I forsee this as a great meeting point in the future!
So anyway, after we had the best hot chocolates I have ever tasted we went for a walk through the park.
"So Hannah..." Leo says " did you have a boyfriend back at home?"
I was surprised by his question.

"No actually I didn't  I was kind of a geek" I say shyly.

"Oh great" Leo says "because I was sort of wondering if maybe, I don't know..."

"If maybe..." i say wishing he asks me out because I really like him.

"Would like to maybe...go out on a date?"he says looking at me akwardly.

So I said jumping up and down with happines inside but trying to act cool on the outside" Sure that would be great!"

By this time we are already outside the fraternity and Leo says " Ok great how about i pick you up here tomorrow at 7 and we go out for dinner?"

" Okay ,sounds good" I say walking up the front steps.

"Hannah..." Leo says making me turn around.

Suddenly Leo kisses me softly on the lips and says " See you tomorrow"

"Ok, bye..." I say softly and go inside.
