Chapter 9 ♦ I'm Going After Them

Danielle's POV

"No Isabella. We tried the easy way. It's the hard way that they want. Katrina, you know what to do." Kennedy said to the blonde and black haired girl.

Everyone in the arena brought out their weapons, ready to fight Exodus.

"How sweet. They think they can fight us." Katrina, the black haired girl snickered before she was blasting lightning everywhere

"Saladin . . . Come out come out wherever you are . . ." Isabella taunted. She was blasting ice at everyone she saw. Kennedy then cast a spell making everyone, except Rowan, Timothy and I, hold their heads in pain.

"Stop what you are doing. It is me you want." Saladin shouts.

"There you are. Why don't you be a good boy and tell us where the jewels are?" Isabella said.

"Master Saladin don't!" Timothy shouted

"You little . . ." Isabella said and shot ice shards his way. Rowan went to Timothy's aid when my eyes drifted to Kennedy floating in the air. She's too focused on hitting everybody with her spell to notice anything. That's when I had an idea.

I grabbed Daniella's bow and arrows and aimed at Kennedy. I let go of the arrow and watched it hit her shoulder. She fell to the ground and everyone was lifted from her spell.

"WHAT DID YOU DO?!" Katrina screamed at Saladin.

"It was not me. You will not get away that easily." Master Saladin said. I saw her gather up all her energy. Knowing what she was going to do, I ran to Saladin. I pushed him out of the way only to get struck by lightning myself.

An ear piercing scream leaves my mouth, making everyone turn to me.

Before my body gives out I hit them with a tracking spell and my Dragon's Wrath. A tracking spell so that when I wake up I'll know where they are, even if they're on another planet, and Dragons Wrath to knock them out.

Katrina pushes another wave through her lightning and I'm thrown to a wall. The world gets darker and the last thing I saw was Exodus standing proud.

Well I guess my Dragon's Wrath didn't work after all. I hope my tracking spell did.

Kyle's POV

I watch the girl I love get thrown into a wall and my body trembled. I ran to her at lighting speed.

"Don't act so surprised. She asked for war." Kennedy said. It seemed she had healed the wound that was on her shoulder

"War? This is nothing close to war." Rowan said and flew towards the group. She floated to Kennedy held her by the collar.

"If you want to see a real war, just go to my home planet, Earth, because the wars there are merciless. So believe me when I say this, if you hurt any one of my friends or family you will finally see what a real war looks like and I will not spare any one of you. Leave, before a war breaks out right now!" Rowan threatened.
