Long Time Ago
I loved you.
I love you.
You slipped away,
Fell,
Out of my reach.
You kept falling,
And drowning,
And suffocating.
I should have been there to catch you,
When you hit your lowest peek.
To save you from the darkness,
When the world started to look bleak.
When you tried to hide,
I should have been trying to seek.
You're probably saying 'so?'
Well I just don't see,
Why am I still trying to hold on,
To something I dropped a long time ago?
