Chapter Six! Here you go! Enjoy!

You were woken up by a shrill alarm.

"Everybody up! Zarkon's attacking!" you heard the princess's voice echo through the speakers that were god knows where.

You felt whatever was keeping you warm unravel itself from around you quickly and grab your arm. You were confused and out of breath as Keith practically dragged you down the hallway. A lot of the stuff said over the loudspeakers sounded obviously fake, seeing a talking head was later involved (courtesy of Coran). The two of you ran onto the bridge to see a bitch-faced Allura and a kneeling Coran.

"No! If only Voltron had been formed!" Coran wailed overdramatically.

"Oh!" he saw you and most of the boys.

"Time!" he shot up excitedly.

You rolled your eyes and crossed your arms. It always seemed that lately whenever you were woken up when it was unwanted, it was by aliens.

"So, I guess this isn't a real attack?" Shiro sighed after Allura had finished a small rant about how none of the boys had bayards.

You and Keith turned towards each other. He also had his arms crossed - little something he picked up from living with you. You raised an eyebrow and he shrugged. You guys had that type of nonverbal relationship understanding.

"- it took you, Coran?" Allura was pissed.

"Seventy-five degrees."

You cocked your head at the Alteans.

"Oh, wait, sorry, this is a meat thermometer!" he turned it upright and smiled. You snorted and shook your head.

"However long it was, it was too long." she glared and shot a glance at you.

"Why are you here? You should be resting." wow, amazing how he can go from bitchy to nice in seconds.

"Uhhh..." Your voice was a little scratchy, your throat hurt. "I wanted to see what was happening, nothing else better to do." You rocked on your heels as you said this.

"Aren't you exhausted? You weren't in the best shape when you got here." she furrowed her eyebrows.

"You were a gladiator too, I think Allura's right." Keith put a hand on your shoulder and squeezed gently, looking down at you. You hated when he did that. You swore he only looked down because he was taller than you and you hated it.

You brushed him off.

"I'm ok, I got a full night's sleep and I'm fine - I swear, I'm ok." you shot looks at everybody and turned to walk out. Before you were able to, you ran into a tall figure, knocking them over.

"Oh jeez-" you held out your hand to the boy. He had a blue bathrobe on with matching lion slippers. I wonder where I can get some of those slippers, you thought as the boy rubbed his head where he fell.

He looked up.

"I guess I just fell hard for you," he said with a wink and a smirk.

You drew back your hand before he took it and walked away.

"Nopety-nope.biz.uk not doing that." you yelped as you left the room. Before you left, you heard Keith snicker. You smiled.

You wandered the castle for the next few hours with nothing to do except sing, nobody could hear you anyways. You swore you passed the same pillar for the fourth time. Then, you realized it.

"Fuck," you mumbled.

"I'm lost." you walked a little further.

"Why does this castle have to be so goddamn big!?" you yelled to no one in particular.

You stood in silence for a second.

"This is gonna be a big problem." you sighed.
