I was left alone for hours. I didn’t hear anything. It was silent, like nothing lived nearby. All I could think about was Maya and if she was ok. I started feeling strange again and knew something was about to happen. The door opened and a woman walked in carrying a tray of what looked like food. “what am I doing here?”

“Im not here to answer your questions, im here to make sure you’re fed.”

I think someone was having a bad day. Doubt it was as bad as mine though. I’m the one who was kidnapped, I’m the one tied to a chair. What did she have to be moody about? Well I wasn’t about to make this easy for her.

“Im not hungry, it’s probably poisoned. I don’t want any of that.”

“You will eat this, I will force feed you it if you won’t eat on your own, I don’t care if its poisoned, I’ve been told to make sure you eat it and that’s just what im going to do.” At that moment the door reopened and in walked the man from before, I got a good look at him this time, long black hair tied in a ponytail, pale face, pale blue eyes and lots of muscle. He stared at the woman until she said sorry and left the room. He then changed his attention to me.

“You will come with me now.” He sounded like he expected me to listen to him, he didn’t realise that I only listen to people who I think deserve it. And he wasn’t one of them.

“No. I’m not moving until someone answers my questions. Who are you? Where am I? Where’s Maya? What am I doi-“ before I could finish he grabbed me and pulled me through the door his grip like iron, snapping the ropes that held me like paper, I struggled but he was too strong, I couldn’t escape. “Get off me! Uuughh.. Let me go!”

He dragged towards a room, I started to feel like ants were crawling all over me, I knew something was going on, just not what it was. There was one man inside the room, in an expensive suit, balding head and lots of muscle.

“Welcome. This is to be your new home for the moment, You will not leave unless one of my guards is with you.”

Who did this guy think he is, all dressed up, talking to me like I’m nothing. I stayed silent, staring at the wall.

He strode over to me, grabbed my face and turned my head towards him.

“You will look at me when im talking to you!” he practically screamed.

What the hell had I become involved in? I don’t think I had ever been so scared in my life.

Before he could say anything more the door burst open, and a women came running in, straight up to the balding man, whispered in his ear. He looked scared, like someone had pointed a gun at his head.

“Stay here. Do not leave this room!” with that they all left the room. I was left alone and untied.

I counted to ten and stood up, I heard no footsteps so I creeped to the door and peaked out. There was no one waiting on the other side. I’ve got to be brave. Come on I can do this.

I opened the door a little wider, and squeezed my way through the gap. I gradually made my way down the hall, trying to find the front door, or a set of stairs I wasn’t sure if I was on the ground floor or higher, every window I’d seen had been boarded up. I made slow progress along the hall, I finally came to a set of stairs leading down. I stopped, listening as hard as I could to see if I could hear anyone. I couldn’t so I stepped onto the first step, I noiselessly made my way down, as I reached the bottom step I heard a voice from upstairs.

“She’s gone! Find her now!” I couldn’t help letting out a squeak of fear, I ran from the stairs down the hall to a door which had sunlight shining in from underneath, I grabbed the handle and heard someone coming down the stairs. Luckily the door wasn’t locked I yanked it open and ran out. I heard someone hiss behind me and slam the door. Were they allergic to the sun?! Weird.
