A/N: I started off with putting Harry's point of view just to give you a taste of how he feels. So for now most chapters will be Noel's point of view with Harry mixed in every so often.

**Noel's POV**

I closed up shop and began to walk home. Every so often looking back to make sure Harry hadn't followed me, not that I expected he would, but a girl can wish right? Anyways I ended up running half way home once I realized the time. I was 20 minutes later than usual which means my dad will question where I was. He will assume I was reporting him or doing something bad and beat me.

2 minutes later I walked into my house out of breath to see the drunken man I was hoping to avoid. I have no such luck. As soon as I open the door he walks up to me and it's obvious he's angry.

"Where the fuck have you been?" He slurred.

"I was at work." I replied trying to hide the fact that my hands were getting shaky.

"Oh yeah? Then how come you took 25 minutes longer than usual? I'm not an idiot you piece of shit!" He screamed at me.

"I-I'm sorry one of the customers wouldn't leave, I'm really sorry." I stuttered out. Great now he knows I'm afraid.

"Well, well, well, you've become a liar too? Tisk tisk tisk my child. You've just earned yourself a beating." He walked, well stumbled over to me.

"Don't"

slap

"ever"

slap

"lie"

slap

"to"

punch

"me"

he grabbed my hair and threw me to the ground

"Again!" He then kicked my side twice and my head once. The pain was unbearable but I knew it wouldn't last long because my vision was becoming blurry and the darkness started taking over.

Just before I lost consciousness for the third time this week, I heard him say in his mockingly sweet voice, "hope you enjoyed your birthday gift you slut!"

Then the black took over.

I eventually woke. The sound of a cars engine humming filled my ears as soon as I regained my senses. My dad would never take me anywhere after beating me. Usually he would lock me in the basement until I had a commitment I had to be at. I guess you could say in a way I was luck I even got to leave my house at all. After about five minutes I slowly began to feel my exhaustion and pain kick in. My eye lids became heavy and I couldn't take it anymore. Having no clue where I was or who I was with, I slowly slipped into a restless slumber.

"Noel! C'mon Noel! Wake up!" A raspy voice broke my nap. The voice's owner was shaking me and calling to me.

"What the fuck do you want?" I snapped finally opening my eyes.

"H-Harry?" I looked up to be met by Harry's most dazzling green eyes filled with shock and concern.

"Thank God you're awake.." He breathed, sighing and shutting his eyes momentarily. I took a minute to absorb my surroundings. I was no longer in my house, but a very extravagant looking beach house. The home was well decorated and semi neat considering the five boys that surrounded my most likely live here. Wait five boys? When did they get here?

"Harry where am I and who are these people?" I ask my eyes wide in shock.

"First, Relax Noe, these are my friends Niall, Louis, Liam, and Zayn. Guys would you give us a minute?" He spoke to them. They nodded and silently left the room.

His gentle voice, caring eyes, friendly gestures, and that nickname, Harry reminds me so much of my brother. My eyes gloss over at the thought and before I know it I'm sobbing and shaking violently.

"Noel! Hey, hey it's okay you're safe. This is our beach house, we share it." Harry spoke soothingly whilst gently rubbing my back.

"H-how did you find me?" I manage to ask between sobs and shallow breaths.

"Well... You're going to think I'm a total creep." He chuckled shaking his head slightly making his chocolate locks bounce. "So I was heading back here then I decided I couldn't forget about you or leave you. I could sense you had something to hide and you intrigue me. I turned back around and tried to catch up with you but you began running. I followed you home and walked up the path just as your father, I'm assuming it was, began to..." He trailed off taking a deep breath. He broke eye contact and stared at the floor before regaining his composure. "When he, you know. For a minute I stood there I shock. Then I heard you fall to the floor and him yell at you. I was totally frozen and helpless. I wanted to walk in and save you but I couldn't. I felt awful standing there helplessly. Anyways, a few minutes later your dad came staggering out of the house. He isn't Ben notice me standing on your porch, or he didn't care, he just hopped in his car and does off. I finally pulled myself together and ran inside. I picked you up and carried you here. I'm sorry for getting involved, I know I shouldn't have but nobody deserves that." He glanced at the floor an the room was silent a moment.

"Harry?" I ask. He perks up and lifts his head to make eye contact with me once again. His emerald eyes boring into mine searching my eyes for what I'm feeling.

"Thank you, really, but this is bad. I can't let you get involved in this. You'll end up hurt. I'd rather be hurt than you. Thank you for your concern though." I sent him a slight smile. He returned it but then began moving towards me. He put his hand on my neck and inches his face closer to mine. My breath hitched in my throat.

"H-Harry..." I managed to stutter.

"I've wanted to do this ever since I laid eyes on you." He breathed, closing the gap between our lips. His plump, pink ones moving in perfect harmony with mine. I moved forward, wrapping my arms around his neck. I softly pulled the curls at the nape of his neck causing him to emit a low groan into my mouth. Our tongues fought for dominance as Harry moved his hands to my hips rubbing small circles into them. He soon repositioned me on the couch so I was laying on my back as he hovered over me, pouring passion into the kiss. This is so wrong, but if this is what wrong feels like, I'm not sure i want to be right.
