Chapter 1

Mixture of cigarettes smoke and sweats linger through the air. The music booms through the air which makes the crowd goes wilder.

May biglang bumuga ng usok ng sigarilyo sa mukha ko kung saan ay napa-ubo ako. The smoke is so intoxicationg that I know it's just not a typical weed.

I lock eyes in one of the man at the side who are probably high. Goosebumps run through my skin when he suddenly smirk, his eyes is so dilated. In fact it's not only him, almost all of them are too high. Laughters and moans accelerates. Some are boldly having sex in the couch and some are in the walls.

The person I am following suddenly stops and turn around to face me.

"Sigurado ka ba dito?" She said, concern can see in her face.

"Oo, bakit?" Tanong ko. Nag-aalangan ba siya?

"Look honey, this place is not good for you. Kung hindi mo lang kailangan siguradong hinding-hindi kita dadalhin dito." She said while holding my shoulders briefly.

"I... I know, pero..." Fake sobs luminous from me. Agad niya naman ako niyakap.

"Shhh... Honey I know. Everything will be fine," sabi niya habang niyayakap ang likod ko.

"Your mother will be fine," dagdag niya pa at hinila na ako kung saan man kami patungo.

Someone bumps me in the shoulder. Kung saan ay nabitawan ko ang kamay ni Jannah. Agad na nawala siya sa paningin ko dahil sa biglaang pag dami ng mga tao. Halos mag git-gitan na kami sa sikip.

Agad kong tiningnan ang relo ko kung ano ng oras. It's nearly 12 midnight. Hinila ko ka agad ang cellphone ko sa bulsa ko. Biglaang napatilapon ito dahil sa gitgitan.

'Anong nangyayari?'

Pinaikot ko agad ang tingin ko para mahanap si Jannah at ang cellphone ko. Ngunit sa kasamaang palad ay masyadong madilim upang mahanap ko pa ito. At kahit sumigaw pa ako ay walang kwenta rin dahil sa sobrang ingay. I don't care about my phone anymore. I need to find Jannah and end this shit.

"Shit!" I curse when I realize how unfortunate I am. May imamalas pa ba ako?

The crowd is going into the depth of this place.

'Wrong move Kia...

Paulit-ulit kong sinabi sa sarili ko. I don't know this place. Sweats are now sticking on me like shit. Napasama ako sa alon ng mga tao sa loob ng nakakahilong lugar na ito. A while ago the place is just like a accepting area? Something like that and now... I don't know where I am. I'm like walking in a big tunnel more than, than a corridor.

I've notice the lights are turning red while we are walking for wherever this place are going. And the eyes of the people around me are illuminating which makes me more nauseous.

The music suddenly turns down while the cheers are becoming louder.

"Machine gun!" "Caliber!"
Two chants at the same time.

Machine gun? Caliber? Guns and shits! Are they kidding me? I know this is a wrong move pero hindi ako nag-sisisi instead it's making me more excited. At unti-unting nawawala ang pagkakahilo ko.

My breath are slowly becoming well when we reach a more open space. Where the chants are now so clear and loud.

Napatingala ako ng makita ko ang napaka malaking arena. Ang mga upuan na nakapaikot dito ay punong-puno. At sa taas nito ay may pangalawang palapag kung saan naman ay isang purong glass na nakatakip sa palapag. The place is more private which the people above is sitting in a couch while some are leaning on the railings but there's still a glass blocking them. It is more like high-end.
