Kim Hyoyoung's pov
The cameras flashing, sound of people chattering ran across the room, I was sitting beside my father, being the president's daughter is a tough job for me, lately, my dad announced a special conference about something and that was when it all started
"I would like to call the attention of every person in the room, the meeting is about to start in 5 minutes" The MC said
I looked to my right seeing Taecyeon Hyung, frustrated over the decision dad made
Yup, I shouldn't be calling him Hyung and it should be Oppa instead but I like it better, back to the topic
After minutes of waiting, Dad stood up grabbing the attention of every person on the room
"Good Afternoon citizens of Bangtan City, what a lovely day we have, right?" My dad said earning nods from the crowd, his cheerful aura soon turned into a dark and serious one
I haven't seen this part of him in ages
Since that day Mom died
"I, Kim Myungsoo, the father of two, president of Bangtan City, declare starting 7:00 in the evening, all crime will be legal" his words struck my head like a truck, don't fucking tell me he'd do it again, a smirk plastered on his face, it became bigger and bigger while the crowd was in the state of shock
"Dad" I mumbled
"Within 18 hours starting 7 in the evening, the purge will happen and no one can stop it" Dad said and got out of the stage, I looked at my brother and he heaved a sigh
"President!" A voice caught my brother and dad's attention, even me
"Is your family involved?" The man asked
"Yes, I want to be fair and square" he said and totally left the stage
"This is unbelievable" I said and shook my head
"7:00 pm to 12:00pm tomorrow midnight" Taecyeon hyung said
I ruffled my hair and now the media are looking at us, they started attacking us with questions
"When did your father decided all of this?"
"Are you fond of his decision?"
"What made him decide?"
What did made my dad decide?, I quickly stood up to find my dad, hungry for an answer, I did not let my father do this lame rule again, it made my mother die, why does he need to do it again?!
I barged into his office and he looked straight into my eyes smirking
"What is it my daughter?" He asked placing his intertwined hands on the wooden table
"What the fucking hell Dad?!" I said hitting the table with my fists
"Aren't you happy?" He said looking at me more intently
"Happy about what Dad?, Happy about this lame rule again?, the one that killed Mom!" I said raising my voice, I want to be respectful infront of him but how can I if he's being a psycho again
"That's the point Hyoyoung!" He said standing up hitting the table as well, I got startled and moved back, I kept silent wanting him to explain
"I want those men who killed your mother dead" He said, eyes flaming with anger
"I want to take revenge by killing them with my own hands without getting in prison" He said finally calming down as he sat down his chair
My heart clenched, my mother's eyes flashed upon me, the way she looked into my eyes, telling me to run from those bastards keep repeating like a broken tape, but this was never the answer
"Then what will happen huh?!, will you bring Mom back?" I said slightly chuckling
"Don't get me started young lady, I already made a decision and no one can stop me, even Taecyeon and You" He said pointing me
A tear escape my eyes and his eyes that was fuming in anger earlier turned into a soft one
"Hyoyoun-" Before he could even finish, I ran away from his office, feeling hurt, this lame rule is nothing to me physically, I've been trained, I was the secret assasin of my dad, he trained me since when I was 5 years old, the only thing about this lame rule is that it brings back so much memories, those memories of my Mom and my best friend, my mom who was killed and my best friend who was separated from me
My Only best friend was gone and I only have a little hope here in my heart that he's still alive and safe
