Why did I hesitate
And now I am to late
You are gone
And no I am alone.
I was afraid to step out of the line
To ask you to be mine,
To ask you can I be more than a friend
But I guess my plans are now at an end.
All those times I tried
I got tongue tied
I could not come up with the courage
To tell you my hearts true message.
I still can't believe
That you still had to leave
I think of you everyday
Even if you are miles away.
I wish you could stay
So I can say
I love you with all my might
And that I shall never forget the kiss we shared
That night under the full moon's light.
