I'm Back

Chapter One

Chapter One
*almost 2 years later*

I've been gone for nearly two years and now, I'm back. It's almost surreal. I've been away for so long and so much has changed. I am definitely not the same little girl I was when I left freshman year.

I have almost completely transformed from that little girl I once was. My hair is still dirty blonde and wavy. It has grown out a lot longer. It used to just barely touch my shoulders, now my hair reaches down to my lower back. In Morocco, I got a pretty decent tan and puberty finally hit me. I grew from my 4'11 height and now I'm 5'8. My soft light grey eyes have turned Ice blue. I actually developed some boobs and a great body, probably from all the belly dancing Maria and I did in While we travelled around.

Maria is my best friend in the whole wide world, better than Melissa ever was. We are like long lost sisters.

Maria is from Spain and she is completely and stunningly gorgeous. She has long straight black hair, the perfect olive skin tone, and light brown eyes with flecks of gold. She was my roommate at boarding school and She's coming to California in about a week to experience America. She wanted just wanted to spend a little more time with her family before she came to school here. Her parents said it was okay for her to come because she is eighteen and it is her decision and they support her in whatever she does and We are both so excited.

I'm excited because I get to see everyone I left behind and shock them all with how I look. No one has seen me since I left except Adam because he visited me once or twice a year. No one knows what I look and that was exactly the way I wanted it. When I started to realized that I was developing or maybe I should say transforming into a completely different person I didn't want anyone to see me because that way it's all the more surprising when everyone see me and that is why I am so excited. I can't wait to see the reactions I get.

Maria is excited because she gets to come to America for the first time ever. She is also eager to hear about everyone's reactions. She knows all about what happened and why I came to boarding school in the first place. It's already about a week into school in California so I'm coming back a little late but that okay because I took advanced courses in Morocco so when I start school again in a couple of days I will still be ahead in most of my classes.

"Ladies and Gentlemen please fasten your seatbelt. We are beginning our descent." The pilot said as the fasten your seatbelt sign dinged on. And we headed back towards my old school and my old life. Except this time I'm not the weak tiny blonde that I used to be. This time I'm different. I'm strong. And I'm back.

My flight reached the ground with no complications. I was about to get my luggage from the baggage claim when I saw my big brother, Adam. Adam was holding a very crazy sign that looked like it was colored by little kids. Adam is 21 so you'd think he would be a better colorer but I guess not. The sign said Alexa Richards on it and it was colored in pink with glitter all over it, an unexpected decoration choice for Adam. Adam looked pretty much exactly like he did when I left except for a little bit older. I ran over to Adam, dropping my bag next to me, jumping onto him and spider monkey clinging to him forcing him into the biggest and best hug ever. He pulled back a little but then he realized it was me and hugged back.

"Alexa!" He exclaimed.

"Adam!" I laughed back, enthusiastically. "My little baby sister is back." He yelled a little bit loudly causing some people by us to give him strange looks. I pulled away from him laughing and smacked the back of his head. "Ow!"
