Anxiety was sitting in the kitchen, Morality was in the commons room & Logic was at school so I went into my room & locked the door, changing the room into a kingdom, I walked through the township of the kingdom & waved at a few civilians as I passed by.
I made it to the castle & walked inside straight to the throne room "ah! Sire! Glad to have you back" Soyer (just a name) said as he bowed then stood back up "it's good to be back, but I am only here for a few hours because I have other duties to tend to such as taking care of my host" I explained as I walked up to my throne, I sat down "so what is on the genre today Soyer?" I asked "well other then taste testing for the big carnival in honour of your birthday & meeting with some of the village folk you have nothing Sire" he replied "well let's get this taste testing started so then I can get started with talking to the village people & then rest for a bit before tonight" I said as I walked back out of the castle "as you wish sire"
-time skip-
"Well sire you have finished for today, you may now take a break ready for tonight" Soyer said as I nodded & he walked away, I got up & walked into my bedroom in the castle to change, I had a quick shower then changed into the black formal suite with the white sash then walked back out & sat on my throne.
I had my royal friends walk into the door "welcome friends" I greeted standing up & walking down the steps to hug them, we stepped apart "thank you for inviting us to your birthday carnival Roman" Riley said as she put her hair up into a pony tail "ah yes thank you" Leo's fanciful side Peter said agreeing "no problem friends, I simply did not wish for you to miss out" I said as we walked around the castle into the garden "so are you bringing the others?" Peter asked "I do not wish them to come as rude as that sounds it's just Anxiety doesn't like social outings, Logan would also prefer the company of a book & Patton, well he would probably like it actually" I said as we sat on the grass surrounded by flowers & rose bushes.
"I do agree with Roman, that I have the same problem with my friends, though they are willing to come & walk around for abit to also wish you a happy birthday" he explained "hm, I proposed that Anx & I go together for a bit, as long as she is with me she is fine, the other four are coming as well so we're all coming" Riley said as she flattened out her white dress "well good, the more the merrier I guess" I replied when Soyer walked in & bowed "sire there are some guest in the throne room to see you" he said "thank you, let's go shall we" I said helping Riley up "yes let's" she replied as we walked back out.
As we walked into the throne room we saw some of the other traits "Anx my dear" Riley said as she walked up to her group of traits & Pete walked up to his group hugging them "Happy Birthday Roman!" They cheered, I smiled "thank you!" I said "Sir, the carnival is ready & waiting for you to start it" Soyer said so we all walked out the door & down the outside steps into the village, we heard the cheering of the village people so we waved as we walked by.
I took the sissors "I announce this carnival...open!" I declared cutting the ribbon, I gave the sissors back & watched the crowd run towards the stalls & the rides "your going to go hide aren't you?" Pete asked as they all walked around "you know me so well" I called to him as I walked up the steps to the castle & into the throne room.
I sat with one leg hanging off the arm of the throne & my arm leaning off the other side, I just sat there thinking when a song came to mind
I've never seen a diamond in the flesh
I cut my teeth on wedding rings in the movies
And I'm not proud of my address, in the torn up town

I finished when I heard clapping "I do not mean to intrude sire, as that was amazing but you have visitors waiting outside, shall I send them in?" Soyer asked "send them in" I said as I continued sitting like before "funny isn't it? It's your birthday & your not even partying & having fun, also not inviting three of the closest people to you? Isn't that rude of a prince?" I heard Anxiety's voice explain "but dare I say it, you look like you just came out of a hot topic store" he added "aw you think I'm hot" I teased him.
"Whatever come on, let's go to this birthday thingy" Logic said as the three walked out of the door "dang it" I mumbled under my breath getting up & following them, I met them at the bottom of the stairs & we walked together to the carnival, Patton & Logan went a different way to Anxiety & I but they both winked at me so I just gave them a confused look then looked at Anx who had a small smirk on his face.
'What are they up too?' I thought to myself as Anxiety led me through the carnival "how do you know where to go?" I asked "eh, I have my ways" he said then continued walking around, he led me to the edge of the forrest & we stood on a hill that was pretty far from the carnival "so Princey what's your excuse?" He asked "I don't like my birthday?" I questioned & Anxiety looked shocked "how can someone like you not like their birthday?" He asked as we sat down under the tree "easy, it's like you not liking us half the time because we're all clueless moron" I explained leaning up against the tree.
"Princey...you should know I didn't mean it to be offensive or anything, it's just my way of showing I care" he explained sitting cross legged infront of me "I know, it's-nevermind" I said looking at the now rising moon "tell me, what's wrong Roman?" He asked using my full name "have you ever...been in love with someone that...well...no it sounds stupid" I admitted looking down.
"I swear to god, Roman tell me now please" he asked nicely, I let out a sigh & look at him "have you ever been in love with someone that you know would not love you back because they already have someone or aren't looking for relationships or you aren't their type?" I asked & he looked down shaking his head, I sighed getting up to start walking down the hill "Princey wait" Anxiety said as he stood up too "there has been something I have wanted to say for a really long time" he started " ok, well I'm listening" I said as I took a step closer "I have been meaning to say this for a while now but uh, will you be my boyfriend?" He asked which shocked me but I smiled & kissed him & he kissed back wrapping his arms around my waist.
We pulled away "so is that a yes?" He asked with a smirk "of course" I said kissing him again.
